Happy Halloweenies!
So yes. Its meee! I'm Link :D I made that myself and my mom took this picture of me earlier tonight before I went trick-or-treating. I drew the triforce on my hand, just for added authenticity. Tights are uncomfortable, and that's just from a female perspective. Poor Linky, lol.

Chibi-Kokiri  [Nov 02, 2005 at 12:47 AM]
I was gonna carry a wooden sword that looked a little more like the Master Sword, but I couldn't find it, so I had to borrow my sister's sword that she bought at the Pirates of the Carribean ride in Disney.

.... i.... went... as.... FAILURE!!! i had to work! how lame is that... it made me cry... (even tho i am probably too old 2 go trick or treating anyway *lol*) growing old sucks... (minus driving... its sad how useless i am without a car (wrecks suck!!!) i've had 2 go 2 weeks without my truck and i am falling apart *lol*....) i'm sorry i kinda just started rambling on... umm... cool (sorry i can't say cute *lol*, but just pick a different POSITIVE word to replace it with )

yeah, growing up has it's downsides. but i still go trick or treating, and i'm 18. this year i wore a duct tape helmet and sleeping bag (as a cape) and drove around with rapier in one hand and an axe in the other (i own many weapons). people ph34r me. _ _ _ to help your costum in the future CK, i might suggest taking lengths of leather-y fabric and pinning it to your tights, folded inwards so that you have several inches of fold. pull that down to make it look like link's boots. the rest of the fabric can be sewn pretty easily so it molds over your sneakers.

I have to complain about the hat and the sword, but it's definitely better than my attempt a few years ago. I had a green T-shirt, green shorts (no tights), brown shoes, some shorts I had grown out of years before as a hat, and a sword made of cardboard wrapped in aluminum foil. I threw it together on Halloween night. I've always been a procrastinator. Anyway, this Halloween I scared trick-or-treaters (as the Grim Reaper). It's fun, often hilarious (when they say "I'm not scared of you!", that's your cue to take a step toward them and watch them run), and if you're successful you get plenty of leftover candy without the walking. I know candy's not the real point of trick-or-treating, but I had to chose trick-or-treating or terrifying people. I chose scaring. BTW, CK, how many people recognized what you were? Everyone thought I was Peter Pan.

Cool! only 1 other person knows who Link is besides me in my school
dude_thats_evil  [Nov 03, 2005 at 03:03 AM]
really? everybody knows who link is, even the popular kids (me *lol/jk*) the 'popular kids' i've noticed actually really aren't that popular.... (another lesson of life from dte *lol*) but ya Zelda is way popular where i live... however, few are obsessed... cuz its kinda rediculous to be obsessed with a nintendo character... (another lesson of life from dte *XD LOL XD*) whew i'm having fun...
Chibi-Kokiri  [Nov 04, 2005 at 02:00 AM]
They thought I was peter pan too! No one recognized me! I was sad no one recognized me. I still got candy though
Nemorensis  [Nov 29, 2005 at 08:44 PM]
Too bad Link isn't this cute in the game. Not trying to hit on you, but.... Where's your sheild?!?
Chibi-Kokiri  [Nov 30, 2005 at 01:05 AM]
*blushblush* Lol XD I didn't have one! I was going to make one from cardboard, but I couldn't find a piece big enough. And then I realized I wouldn't have any hands to hold my candy bag if I did, anyway. >3

Wow, thats better than the cosume I came up with! I went trick-or-treating as Link, too, with my friend. We stopped at an old lady's house, and she half-jokingly called me the Green Goblin.
the_ocarina_of_time  [Apr 21, 2006 at 02:59 AM]
seriously, what kind of freaks dress up as Nintendo characters? like i said, i've done it too. but dte's right, we are sort of weird (seriously, Zelda fan art???)... but that's ok. fairyfreak, you must go to a really small school. Or maybe you're homeschooled.... oh and dte's right, the "popular kids" are just the ones who do stupid stuff to try to be cool. i go to a science and tech school (literally the ONLY good school in my county. anyone live near DC? heard of Eleanor Roosevelt HS?). so anyway it's sort of a scool for nerds (like me), so of course most people know Zelda. I know two guys who regularly wear Zelda shirts. (freaks! like me.)

My school is a garden shed compared to most other schools in WNY. By the way, I like your shoes.
Chibi-Kokiri  [Apr 22, 2006 at 06:35 PM]
My shoes are awesome >.> I want Link boots though, they're all cool and floppy.
star_breaker  [Nov 02, 2006 at 12:16 PM]
I've never dressed up as Link, mainly coz otherwise I'd get egged, and it would spoil my costume.
