fire is tricky. i've been struggling to make a convincing fire effect for my MOD for months, to no avail.

Nice, but the irises take away the oni feel.

ya i failed miserably with the fire, but to Nem.... are you sure? I think the irises give him life, instead of having him be dead, he seems almost a little more human

Ah, but the point in Oni Link is to make the evil, more inhuman side of Link to surface to the world. He's not supposed to seem human.

that is a good point, but you can tell he's inhuman because he is engulfed in flames, and really doesn't seem to be effected by it

Point taken, but he would seem more inhuman if he had no irises- aw, screw it. It's an awesome pic, I think we can both agree on that, eh?

it'd be sweet if you sat down and MFlashed this, i think you'ld get a better effect that way. moving fire is way better than still fire, virtually every time.

you should make it then, because the only kind of annimation i could produce would be gif and that would take 4 ever

Of course the moving fire animation would be 10000000000 times harder than the still fire which is iffy already. Maybe if the fire went a little over his chest as well, and he had a kinda wavy blur over his face like it's really hot...something like that would be good. Irises...either way goes in my opinion.

the fire looks kinda like lava. personally, i like the irises-red eyes still look plenty inhuman.
