The Harsh Comic
History Time!
Way back in the day, before the Fall of the old Zeldalegends (ooh, how mythical sounding), there were wars. Terrible wars between the Fan Artists and the Spammers, fighting for the sanctity of the Gallery. They were know as the Spam Wars.

Leading the forces of good (the origianal Artists) were heros such as Imazeldagirl, Ganondorf, Hacker Z, IronKnuckle, Dan Heron, Obsessed_Zelda_Freak, and myself, just to name a few.

Leading the forces of 3vi|_ were spammers such as black_link and his many personas- white_link, red_link, green_link, gray_link, rainbow_link, etc. They sought to poison the gallery by posting unaltered official art and making irrelevant comments. No one was safe.

In an effort to fight the 3vi|_, Hacker Z and I began a campaign where we not only refuted the spammers with our commets, but also with our art. This particular picture is a compilation by me of several brave pics by HZ. I post this pic today in the aftermath of Rhyksha, to remind spammers what waits in the Depths of the Gallery.

But Alas, for it was for naught. The gallery fell into ruin with the rest of the Zeldalegends world, with the fiery blast that killed the Hard Drives which sustained us all (ok, that's a fabrication. silence, i'm telling a story here). However, from the ashes of the old gallery has risen a new gallery, sustained by old and new artists, who together have now posted over 1000 pictures!

I remember those dark days all to well... (I was a member but never posted anything) I personally wanted to go visit Black_link with a sledgehammer. But things are so much better now, we occasionally have little rifts, but we all seem to get along pretty well. *wipes a tear from her eye* I'm so proud. *sniff*
BTW, funny comic, but I think I'm gonna be traumatized forever by the last pannel.

Wow, who'd have thought that this place had such depth. I'm still a little new here so its good to get a history leason of the site. I'm proud to now be a part of the great site know as ZELDA LEGENDS.

wow. i visited this gallery before the crash, -not as a member or anything- but, alas, i was blind to the conflicts that occurred... (another one with a flair for dramatics) i had the fellowship/uruk-hai music playing on my discman in the background-*perfect*!

Since this pic has to do with rule breakers i thought it would be okay to ask if anyone else saw those disgutsing pics loaded by chocolumer or whatever his name is? Note: I know this is consitered spam admins but i care about the gallery and i need to see if other members are as mad as i am.

ack, i remember that idiot. I had a go at him a couple of times... i think he had a go back aswell, i wish we knew what had become of that (...)... *wipes a tear from his eye* blegh, it's been over a year since i first joined ZL before it crashed.... i remember the old site, it was great until that butthole came along. ^^; Anyways, i remember this comic well.. o_o;; the last panel stil scares me.

hmmm... what a nasty little war that took place here... but the war has long been over, from what i can tell. And i did notice that Rhyksha was using someone elses art, and calling it her own... I suppose thats why she got booted (smack me if that sounds like chat room slang) from the art gallery. And as for the music, well, i dont know... funny comic, although the last panel seems a little "naughty" ( i dont know what the lotion was for though)

Alas I did not see such a war but by how it was told The Legend of The ZeldaLegends Art War should be told for generations of zeldafans of the ages. (I just thought of the named because I thought it sounded good with what Koroks Rock said) KR the battle but the war never ends. (I think I heared that line somewhere.)

LOL..... I'm kinda new on the site, as a few others, and i haven't ever heard of a crash. By what I hear, it must have been AWFUL.... But now, we're okay. and i DO hope there is a 'The Legend of The ZeldaLegends Art War' coming...somdeay. ^^; I would definitely join.
