The biggest surprise i had with the sword was it's length: it's at least a foot longer than in OoT!!

I know. In real life, no one would be able to draw a sword that long from a full-length scabbard. Unless they had arms that were five feet.

No one could even draw the ordon sword. I have a display tachi at home with a c.70cm (28in) blade, and i have some trouble pulling it out and i still can't sheathe it, if i hold the scabbard on my back. The Master Sword has to have a blade at least a meter long (3,5 feet). And the ordon sword was some 80cm. Unless the scabbard had some sort of slit on the side, there is no way you could pull or sheathe those swords.

Exactly. The longest blade I've ever seen drawn from the back in real life was around 26'' (by yours truly, as a young re-enactment student). That's why my original character always has a sword at his hip.

Mabye there's a slit in the sheath he just tucks it into. If you pause it right when he's putting it away, you can see the sword sticking through its sheath. Or mabye Link's just magical.

This Link had no magic. Other than charging a sword attack, and a few artefacts, he had no contact (or prior knowledge thereof) with magic.

I get what you're saying with drawing it, I tried to draw one like he does and couldn't do it, and the sword I used was smaller. Well, my arms were too, but it was pretty much the same premise.
