Hmmm... Is that what happens to people when they enter the twilight realm? They become green? He looks scared... or crazy. This place looks pretty beat up.

He's been dead a while. The sidequest here must be to lay him to rest, not bring him back as an animated pile of dust.

Look at his place. It's run down and generally looks like it's been vacant for at least some months. And he's turned to a sickly green ghost. Remember Dampé from OoT? He just had a halo and a (soul)lantern added to him, but otherwise he looked normal. This guy doesn't have a lantern or a halo, and he's stuck in that house. Beyond these bits of information i cannot further construct an argument except by saying that I just get the sort of feel that he's been dead for quite a while. So what would be the point of trying to bring him back to life?
