LADX Begins
Just a simple video capture of the beginning clip from LADX, plus a little bit of flash scripting to make it easier on you guys. Also makes it unthinkably smaller, if a bit lower quality :P

Being struck bylightnig when your on vacation really sucks,.but this little animation dosn't ,.awesome KR!!

ironically, the animation is almost exactly twice the size of the game itself. i've spent a lot of time breaking the video footage down and trying to write some scripting, but to no avail. it's amazing how hard this kind of thing is to replicate.

this is cool, but too bad it's not yours... i guess u can call that a tweek... but HARDLY! (its something u always get mad at me 4 *lol*) seriously tho... that is small... wicked small...

trust me, you don't want to see what i made... my efforts were ruinous in the extreme. it's amazing to me just how badly wrong you can go, if you don't have the proper tools/expirience for examining how the original animation is scripted. if i actually knew what the turnover rate of the waves was, or had an accurate formula for tiling the rain, it'd go better. but what i made is drab and painful to view. it doesn't help that half the actionscript doesn't work. (you're supposed to get a "Replay?" screen at the end of this. why you do not, i do not know, dispite exhaustive debugging.) i might post a slight edit from this, but i can't pull off much better

I want to learn how to do action scripting one of these days... that would be cool... I hate bugs tho, like when doing html crap, i hate when you didn't type something in just right and the whole page gets screwed up *lol* finding the source of the problem can be highly frustraiting...

flash has a handy syntax and debugging tools, which makes life easier, but the language is considerably more diverse and powerful than HTML. i mean, take a look at my webpage: i coded most of it by hand, with minimal use of GUIs. that's a rough project, but not as bad as trying to script a game in flash

how exactly am i supposed to look at your webpage? chances are if i make up a URL i'll get a 404 or the wrong site. so anyway, why's there a Yoshi egg in Zelda?

well, if you look at my profile you'll see all that anyone should ever need to know about me. my website hasn't changed URLs in over a year now, I try to stay consistent. I'll update my profile if it does change.
