master sword animation
this is my first flash! well, it hardly counts, all i did was import all the pictures. i'm
planning on some real flash thingies soon.
so anyway, here's my master sword from a buncha different angles. i actually had
fun on this, it wasn't really tedious, because i had to decide where to make the
camera go. it freezes before it stabs you on purpose, i didn't realize it would look
weird like that. so anyway, please comment, even if you're just saying that it bores
you and in fact you don't even like zelda at all...

Yeah, but if there was a salution, I bet KR would know it. He is a flash wiz, but he isn't going to be back for a while. EDIT the only way to read the discreption is to change the theme to Legends of Zelda. Just thought you should know

you should try to make it look smoother... (the transformation from the last slide to the first) you could make the sword do whatever, to end up in the same position it is on the first slide to do this... Great Job tho!

The only way to read the discreption is to change the sites theme. Well any who, the pic is awesome it just is so big the is overlaps every thing on the left side of it.

I just found out that you can also read the discription on the thumbnail. So I guess you don't need to make any changes, sorry for the bother.

no actually, i fixed the description now. it took awhile, especially with the wireless signal dying every few seconds (literally), but now it's readable. those periods at the end are to prevent it from centering and messing up. (by the way, if you've never tried to do something on the internet with a crappy internet connection, trying to wait until it connects and then hurrying to do whatever you can in the few seconds you have, feel very, very lucky. that's a command. NOW.)

toot, i hightly recommend to you Modify > Trace bitmap, it'll cut things down to size very quickly (all it does is convert bitmap images (bmp, jpg, gif, png, etc) into vertor images, which is much more efficient)

open the fla file. click on the images (it's best if you do this with the white arrow, it tends to work better). once the image is selected, and only the image, then go up to the top, where the words File Edit View Insert Modify are. Click on Modify and a submenu will appear. about halfway down that menu is "Trace Bitmap...", just below "Swap Bitmap...". click it and play around for a bit (using Ctrl Z a lot, of course)

ok, how do i select the pictures in all the layers? i'm new to flash, all i did was open the pictures in it and export as .swf
