hand.jpgRough (smoothed) Draft for Gauntlet.594 viewsEver notice how ganon and link have rather similar gauntlets? i'm supposed to be making some stuff in my Independant study with 3DMax, so i figured i'd make one of their gauntlets. I'm not sure whose I'm making, but at this point it doesn't matter. Obviously, this model is still in the works, so if anyone wants to give me some advice, i'm open to it at entrunner7@aol.com, as well as here in the gallery. Made in 3DMax, image touched up in photoshop.15 commentsKoroks Rock

harshcomic.gifThe Harsh Comic1127 viewsHistory Time!
Way back in the day, before the Fall of the old Zeldalegends (ooh, how mythical sounding), there were wars. Terrible wars between the Fan Artists and the Spammers, fighting for the sanctity of the Gallery. They were know as the Spam Wars.

Leading the forces of good (the origianal Artists) were heros such as Imazeldagirl, Ganondorf, Hacker Z, IronKnuckle, Dan Heron, Obsessed_Zelda_Freak, and myself, just to name a few.

Leading the forces of 3vi|_ were spammers such as black_link and his many personas- white_link, red_link, green_link, gray_link, rainbow_link, etc. They sought to poison the gallery by posting unaltered official art and making irrelevant comments. No one was safe.

In an effort to fight the 3vi|_, Hacker Z and I began a campaign where we not only refuted the spammers with our commets, but also with our art. This particular picture is a compilation by me of several brave pics by HZ. I post this pic today in the aftermath of Rhyksha, to remind spammers what waits in the Depths of the Gallery.

Healthboost1.jpg
Healthboost1.jpgQ2 Piece of Heart502 viewsThis is a simple health-boosting item in my game, but as you can tell, it is modelled after the life-expanding pieces of heart local to all the zelda games. it was actually quite a challenge to map out all the triangles without getting confused.3 commentsKoroks Rock
hotness.jpg
hotness.jpgTwilight Princess Background892 viewsAnyone else think the new screenies are hot? specifically this one? i do.

Simple pic, all i did was crop the original a bit, expand the canvas, make two lines, and blend in the new logo. i did a little bit of color adjustment and added in a gradient so the two elements would go together better, but overall this is a very small change from the original.

good god i'm excited about this game.

hyruleshield1.jpgQ2 Hyrule Shield437 viewsThis is another 3D item i've whipped up, in direct emulation of the 64 version, just with a few more triangles and vertices. I realize it doesn't look like much without the skin, but it was one of my first Q2 projects, and I'm proud of it.2 commentsKoroks Rock

icon-screen copy.jpgLoZ-Cube Logo (in production)687 viewsSo here's a screenshot of me working on the new icon/logo/thing for LoZ-Cube, my game (which will be made available to the public this weekend!)

This goes to show that there are all sorts of alternatives to the dreaded MS Paint, if you'll just go googling. This is doubly productive to boot.

inevit1.jpgInevitability DeMotivator1242 viewsI don't know how many of you know about DeMotivators ( www.despair.com ), but they're a fun bunch of posters which i happen to be a big fan of. After viewing some of the new Z'05 screens, the idea came to me to mix some of my reactions to the pics with the basic concepts of the DeMotivators. Here we see Link facing the Inevitable.

It happens to be 800x600, so it can be used for a background or small printout. Made in photoshop, during my Independant Study of graphic design, very quickly and easily.

islands_bg.jpg
islands_bg.jpgZunari's Homeland1208 viewsI'm just taking a break from modelling for now, and am playing around with a program called terragen. It's chief use is making skyboxes, but it can also be useful for artistic wallpapers like this.

The idea was to make a group of islands that would resemble Zunari's (the shop guy in WW) homeland, which is supposed to be all cold and snowy. Originally I had it much, much more snowy, but I decided it wasn't very visually engaging, so I severely turned down the snow and added plenty of rock and a little grass. In retrospect I wish I had kept more of the snow. Oh well.

I don't even want to know how many quadrilaterals this had, it took my computer 11 minutes to render.

korokent.jpgMakar/treebeard Hybrid Idea1239 viewsAs you will come to know, I am a huge Lord of the Rings fan. I drew this pic after having reread the Two Towers just before it released, using Treebeards line: "My business is with Sarumon with the rock and stone."

Makar and the other Koroks could easily be transformed into ents, should nintendo wish it, but here I tried to find a middle ground. Smooth like the Koroks but towering like the ents etc.

LADX_begins.swf
LADX_begins.swfLADX Begins787 viewsJust a simple video capture of the beginning clip from LADX, plus a little bit of flash scripting to make it easier on you guys. Also makes it unthinkably smaller, if a bit lower quality :P11 commentsKoroks Rock

linkjuggle.jpgHey Sheik!1122 viewsThis little idea was born when I had the image of link showing off to Sheik. Bear in mind that I'm a sheik=girl follower, but even if sheik was a fellow guy, this would make sense. Teenagers love to show off, even when the risks are unthinkable. It's supposed to be set in Death Mtn. Crater, sorry the semblance is so bad.13 commentsKoroks Rock

Flash 6

This odd, rapidly produced animation was made to the specifications of a friend... what the heck he wanted it for I have no clue, but he sent me some text and some instructions and I did it.

Relatively simple animation, uses background music I edited out myself, pictures gotten from the multimedia gallery next door, right here in zeldalegends. That's about all I have to say.

makar.jpgMakar Falling1035 viewsOK, admit it. We've all at some pint said "hey Ma, watch this!" This is just my take on Makar having such an expirience.12 commentsKoroks Rock
Noseplug.jpg
Noseplug.jpgThe Noseplug Incident893 viewsThis is a very old joke, one of my earliest pics. The idea was that Link, having been recently beaten up, has accidentally used Navi as a noseplug, because he's too bloodied to tell the difference.11 commentsKoroks Rock

nss_title_compressed.pngNagori, Saimon, and Senkyoku424 viewsSome title photshopping I've done as a thank-you for Achitka. The linework and context is her work, which I have applied my photoshoppy ways unto. An embarassingly small effort on my part, but i think it an appropriate way of thanking her.2 commentsKoroks Rock
oldman1.jpg
oldman1.jpgMD2 Old Man603 viewsRemember the somewhat random old men scattered throughout Zelda 1? And have continued to appear everywhere since? This is his newest rendition. it's a very simple model that will stand on a text trigger, creating the illusion of an NPC (Non Player Character).4 commentsKoroks Rock

oot_sum.swf
oot_sum.swfSumation of OoT881 viewsOnce again, this is a hyperspeed rendition of what happens thoughout OoT. I listed (most of) the items in the upper left corner as you get them, with a number of exceptions, mostly due to my inner lazyness. I also posted where/what's going on in the lower left corner, which helps clear stuff up a bit, and the trading game in the upper right.

I decided to use FireGS's Tal Tal Mtn song (from www.zreo.com) because it's a good song for this. Also, it's already an MP3, which means i don't have to rerecord it myself :)

Finally, i decided not to cut>animate the adult bosses because it took so much effort to animate the young link bosses and i wanted to stay under 1 megabyte.

This will be my last production until perhaps September: I'm going to staff at a backpacking camp for the rest of July, and then August is going to be pure h*ll for me, what with school starting again and having to catch up on other projects. I'll be back and commenting about August the 2nd, but not posting new stuff.

owl screenshot.jpgOwl Statue737 viewsSo this is a screenshot form inside LoZ-Cube of the Owl statue i've recently made, based off of the MM owl statue, but in this case being used as one of the owls from LA. hence the ironic comment (hinting at just how deranged Link really is)7 commentsKoroks Rock
pink.jpg
pink.jpgAZ's Pink Sword529 viewsThis is my version of AZ's pink sowrd. it is exactly the same shape and proportions, with the exact same pattern. But i went to the trouble of making a texture, beveling everything, and putting in a BG. this is what a sword picture *can* look like. and this is still a quick job, i could have used real sword textures and given it a decent hilt.6 commentsKoroks Rock
Pound It.jpg
Pound It.jpgPound it!1257 viewsThis old joke turned out to be a lot harder to photshop than expected. Darunia always has his left arm down, no matter what pic you see, so i had to adjust the scaling a good bit and retexture a lot. This was also made when my scanner was on the blitz, which is why some things are so grainy.14 commentsKoroks Rock
