BHchallenge.gifBH's challenge507 viewswell, BH challenged us to color his outline of the Gilded Sword, and two people have already done so. So I thought to myself "With competition like this, what's the best way to compete? work outside the rules!" so rather than coloring the sword like BH asked us to, i modelled it in Q2Modeller, my 3d modeller of choice. the sword is extremely rough-hewn, because each and every vertex and triangle was done by hand. if i get some positive reception, i'll up the vertex count and skin it.Koroks Rock

Screwing around with a new coloring style. Instead of smudging the shaded parts, I added ab 18 pixen guassian blur (WAY to many pixels IMO, so I guess I've learned something) No lighting because this picture took long enough with just the flat color and shading.Chibi-Kokiri

Koichi.jpgKoichi197 viewsKoichi is Link's older brother in my story, A New Life in a Pack. Obviously, this is Koichi in his "birth form", as opposed to his wolf form. He is half Hylian, half wolf. He has wolf ears, tail, feet, claws, ans, though you can't tell, long, sharp canines.
The base inspiration for Koichi's creation wasn't, as it may appear to be, Inuyasha, but rather, Aayame, Yuki's older brother, in Fruits Basket. The idea was for Koichi to look like Link, only with longer hair. The wolf features came later as I sorted out Link's mother's origins.LinksLove

naboru_adult1.jpgNabooru, colored175 viewsI've started to use Opencanvas for coloring. I think this simple tool is much better, for such a biginner in paintings like me, rather than some programs like Painter or so. Maybe I 'd practice a LOT more, and then try those professional tools later :)
So, I must say, please don't be so critical 'bout it, since this is just for practicing, and I'm still in learning procedure.
