Her name is Ocah (Oh-sah) which derives from 'ocean', she's the crowned princess of Ocuna Palace on the Eclipse Island from my fanfic.

The ruffle ripples on her dress inspired me from Queen Rutela's dress like ripples on water and Ocah's looks like a rose. The symbols on her jewelry represents moonlight, they worship the moon because whenever the moon gets pulled into the Earth during the night and the tides come in further beyond the shore.
Hmm...is it just me or her hands look big? lol

And since someone at DA asked me if I use anything special in Photoshop to get "this?" look, I'll post my reply:
I just use the flat round brush (I don't really ever use feathered edges) between 50 and 70 opacity and the size of the brush is usually between 5 and 19 (unless I'm filling in a very large area.) Sometimes I use the smudge tool to brush out/blend color areas, but I try not to unless I need too. I'll also, sometimes, put highlights or colors in another layer and adjust the transparency (I did that here for the shine on his hair-- because I just wanted to paste it on real quick.) Or use the overlay layer effect for shadows. Just 'cause that's all even easier to adjust and redo. But what I just described, the way of painting, it takes me a really long time. It's just the only way (flukes not included) I seem to be able to work :/Melora

My Dad and I made them over 10 years ago after Ocarina of Time came out. The sword is made of 100% scrap steel and is 32" long with a 2' blade, the sheath is made out of a flattened out muffler pipe with a carved piece of wood at the top. After all of the use i put into them over the years i felt that they needed to be shined up and repainted. This is the final result. As you can see, I finally created my villain wearing the Helmet of Dark Tears and Melartis' mother Queen Naruteen. Heh, also my first attempt creating a castle from scratch and the Twin Hall Mountain on the bottom right looks funny to me. Oh, well. What do you guys think? Comments appreciated.

I did the whole thing on the computer using a mouse (drawing included), and used cell-shading on the dress. I haven't done that much detail on one photoshop before. I also added shine to her hair and all the magic effects using the blur and smudge tool. Now that I've learned about overlays and lighting effects, I feel like I can make this pic SO much better, but I still love it.
