Here we have Ganny and all his evil minions (I tried to kinda make it a mirror image of my Sage pic), and I threw in Dark Link for Rauru's equivalent, since Rauru has no boss in his temple. Oh, well. I obviously took some artistic liberties, mostly with Morpha and Bongo Bongo.

I tried to make a festive picture of Link and Zelda. It's OoT style, but I was thinking of the old animation a little. I always hated that Link, but I loved that Zelda. She picked up one of the larger pieces and stared at her reflection. A crack running through caused her image to skew. Broken images fell like scattered raindrops in her head and Kageri felt ill. Master Hito was so sure that they’d killed the intended Hero when he was still an infant. Perhaps they did; she and Kage had sickened many children that year, though it was still possible that some might of escaped. Mournful cries floated up from her memory as bits and pieces of her broken past vied for her attention. It was always part of the plan, but the tekuragari regretted the taking of innocents.

She really isn't a very nice fairy...you'd be better off staying away from this one.

I also borrowed the crest from a pic put up by Susie Q, though the only thing left of it that I used was probably from the official art anyways. I worked hard on the stupid eye, to make it look good. I even went and looked in a mirror to see what my own eye looked like just to do it better. And I couldn't think of anything cool for the BG so I just used a watery-lookin effect. split_wallpaper.jpgSplit Natures (wallpaper)831 viewsThis is a relatively straightforward edit to existing artwork that you can find on Nintendo Power magazines (or so i'm told. i dunno, i got it from zeldalegends). the tricky bit was trying to change the pic's proportions without distorting the subjects. i tried at some length to displace the bottom and top to the sides, but once i did so i realized that it didn't work out as a background.
so i scrapped it and went for the rule-of-thirds appoach you see here, twisting the existing side material backwards so as to give the user some space to put their desktop icons. i also tried to apply the sexy new logo, but i really didn't work colorwise. so i just stuck the name over to the right, mirroring the now-classic Unreal Tournament backgrounds.
So the root subject is not mine, i don't take credit for it, but getting it to work as a background was my effort.Koroks Rock
