I took quite awhile to color it, then at the last second applied a crazy effect to it, and it turned into this, which I thought was cool. It looks like an etching in stone that was stained the proper colors or something. He's supposed to be in the zora-tunic but the last-second edit makes it VERY dark. Ok, I'll make this quick. It all started a few months ago when i saw my old death valley pics (the ones that looked like the volcano in Mario 64; they've been deleted now for being bmps), and noticed that someone (RICKY, maybe?) kept suggesting that i add a "glow" to them. I had just learned how to do that, so i started changing some stuff, and after a few hours had something like this. About a month later i came back, made some changes, and went back to school. a couple weeks after that, i wrote a few scripts, and my comp worked on rendering a movie of this for 4-5 days (really). it was 26 MB, i got it down to 6MB, but my trial period for flash ended (KR: Help!!!). anyway, i took one of about 450 frames, converted it to jpeg, stuck it as my wallpaper, and uploaded it.
Yeah, it's Death Valley. That's lava in the bottom. I've gotten better at mist and sunbeams, as you should notice. enjoy. and, of course, COMMENT!!!!the_ocarina_of_time

Bleh. This is a screen from my game Mod, in a level called Dormant Menace (which is actually a revision of my first game map, ever). The idea is that there are bodies and pools of blood left around from a recent battle, and this is just one of many.
I couldn't tell you how many verts are onscreen, because this compiles about three different models. there are about 4 textures being used, three 256^2 and a 64^2.
it took me about an hour to reskin and remodel the knight (which is not originally mine, but i've done a bumload of work to it). the blood spats took me about 5 minutes. place would have been about two minutes too, except that i changed some inherent apects of how this stuff is called, so it extended that prcess to about twenty minutes.
So, not a terribly long job, but a productive one with results i'm pretty happy with. Remember that there are about twenty of these in the map, so it has to be low-poly enough to not slow down gameplayKoroks Rock

gumball2.jpg"Gumball" Cover 2.0564 viewsWell, i managed to fix the gallery (w00t!) and so now i can show you the very nearly finished version of A Goron Stole My Gumball cover. This is directly based off of Feldon's sketch, and follows it closely, with a few small changes. Basically, i just added textures and shading. i used some non-commercial textures by two friends named DG and Sock, and then editted them appropriately. i use their stuff a lot, it saves me a huge amount of work. The moon is a picture of the moon i took a while ago, color adjusted for this pic.
Now, almost all that's left is to get the text colors right. Feldon, I need your input for this :) Input from anyone else would be great too, I'm sure there are lots of tweaks i can do.Koroks Rock

Hikagi uses steel tonfas, and as you can see, she enjoys playing with them. Carid uses a kompei (not sure if I spelled it right ^-^; ) and, besides of her brute force, she has psychokinetic powers, that's why she's floating. Aliku, now with her tantos <3 she loves them to death ^^
