gumball2.jpg"Gumball" Cover 2.0566 viewsWell, i managed to fix the gallery (w00t!) and so now i can show you the very nearly finished version of A Goron Stole My Gumball cover. This is directly based off of Feldon's sketch, and follows it closely, with a few small changes. Basically, i just added textures and shading. i used some non-commercial textures by two friends named DG and Sock, and then editted them appropriately. i use their stuff a lot, it saves me a huge amount of work. The moon is a picture of the moon i took a while ago, color adjusted for this pic.
Now, almost all that's left is to get the text colors right. Feldon, I need your input for this :) Input from anyone else would be great too, I'm sure there are lots of tweaks i can do.Koroks Rock

I hate finals. I was going for a darker look and wanted to practice my shadows a bit. I was going to add a cooler background, but just got tired of working on this pic. Master_Sword.pngMaster Sword565 viewsI finally realize why it's named 'Master Sword' Fi named it Master Sword because the Sword belongs to her Master, Link. So instead of naming it something silly, like Link's sword she named it Master Sword as in saying 'this is my Master(s) Sword' I never knew that until I got the Master Sword and I finally got the True Master Sword. I finally finished up in Faron Woods, so its time to head back to Lanayru to get some Tumble weeds and to find the Dragon. Of course, this is similar to the Wind Waker's unpowered Master Sword. Anyway, I just used the same base from my Skyward Sword Master Sword, just changed the guards, the gem, and the top of the hilt, and Removed the Tri-force symbol that was on the blade.

I realize that the lightning didn't work out like it should have. I think I'm going to add
sounds, including thunder, to it. eventually.
Also, I know it's
jerky, especially when the camera jerks before the sun moves. And the rest is just too
sudden.
But overall, I think this is my masterpiece (which, you could argue, isn't saying much....)
and I'm really happy with how it came out.
I used Terragen (obviously), Irfanview for renaming and JPEGing, MX Flash 8 for converting
it to Flash, and... that's it. BTW, KR, the code didn't work.

Goron Armor.jpgGoron Battle Outfit562 viewsThis is just playing around with the goron design. I was bored and just started to doodle down things I think would look cool, and aid a goron in battle. The main armor is designed like the plates of a armidillo, so that it wouldnt interfere with a goron rolling up into a ball and rolling. It would most likely be 1 1/2 inch plate steel, trimed with fine leather, or maybe even dodongo hide or something. Dodongo teeth can be seen here and there, Robes to keep the metal from chafing the skin, and other various things. I orginally had him wearing a helmet, but I had the idea that they would shave their heads before battle, to symbolize their equality or something, so I took it off. They would keep their beards because of pride, kind of like the japenese and their topknots. Only the Tribal chief would keep his full head of hair, making him look the most terrifying of the army. I liked the design so I decided to post it, though I think some people wouldnt think gorons would wear armor, but oh well....Braxis

zelda_gown.jpgZelda at Night560 viewsOkay, lots of people have been debating about the white line thing. That was fully intentional. However, I drew this a while back, when I didn't know how to make white space transparent. But, now I know. ^^ I do it like this:
1. scan in a drawing.
2. in photoshop, select all and copy.
3. create a new layer, and fill it in black.
4. switch to quick mask mode, and paste into the black layer.
5. switch back to normal mode, and press delete.
All finished!
If I had wanted a cleaner line I could have stroked the outline of the drawing. Ah well. Practice makes perfect, right?
I don't particularly like Zelda, but I do like drawing her. Hopefully she'll be cooler in TP and actually do some of her own fighting... and I hope there's some kind of Malon-esque character in it too!cerasly
