riuminku2.jpgRiuminku (totally redone)1044 viewsSinse the other pic I did of Riuminku (OC) sucked incredibly, I decided to totally redo her, and I think I'm pretty satisfied with the results. Still the same person, though- mischievous, teasing, outgoing, loyal. As I've said before, she's a Vershka, a race with the ability to control shadows to do a wide range of things, though they don't use the full extent of their power. The full explanation is in my fic, I've already got [that part of] it written, waiting to be uploaded.^^
And I got me some prismacolor pencils over Christmas, so a color version will probably follow... quite shortly.aquawolf

Itzpapalotl_by_dan_heron.jpgItzpapalotl1043 viewsItzpapalotl is the name of an Aztec goddess, the literall translation would be something like "Clawed Butterfly" or "Obsidian Butterfly", making reference to the beauty of knowledge and the strenght of death. She was a fearsome goddess with painting over her face depicting a skull, who ruled over the paradise world of Tomoanchan. In Aztec Mythology, is the highest paradise in the heavens; in the Aztec creation myth, it is here that the gods created the present race of humans after Quetzalcoatl and his Nahual had gathered the bones and ashes from the previous race.
Itzpapalotl, or Papa as Ari keeps calling her, is the goddess of death in my Legend of Zelda fic. As many of you know, instead of making deities and spirits for my fic, I'm using Aztec ideas. Papa is one of them.
Now, you may think that death is horrible and macabre or stuff. Well, for most Mexicans, that's a pretty laughable thought. We learn to live and be happy with death since we are little children. That's why the fearsome is a random girldan heron

Link Slice.pngLink Slice1042 viewsHere's my sketch of Link. I inked him, then I had to do some major editing on paint. I didn't edit his hair and eyes because it would probable mess him up. I also didn't edit the inside of the shield because I like the effect it gave.bounty hunter

anihik.jpgYoung Souls1041 viewsThis boy is Hikagi’s love “nodnod” Yup, they are very in love, even with all the problems each one carries on their back.
Hikagi (the “feline” girl) is half Harinco and half Sheika. Animula is a Deva.
Their personalities are very different. While Hikagi is lives life to the fullest, Animula is too scared most of the time, and he refuses physical contact unless it’s his sister or Hikagi.
The title derives from Animula’s name. It comes from Latin, Animula, which means, Young Soul… or something like that ^-^;;;dan heron

Saria_s_Sorrow_coloured.jpgfinished100%finished_copy.jpgSaria's Sorrow (coloured)1041 viewsI very proud and pleased with the way this one came out. Especially the shorts, boots and hair. This is basically the same description for my uncoloured version. Link has left her to collect the rest of the spiritual stones. Saria is sad to see him leave, and thats what i've tried to show in this drawing.
I drew this for a video about Saria being secretly in love with Link, but I'm not really a SariaxLink fan, I just heard a song (Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis) and thought it would be interesting to do a video with it.
ps I'm still learning to colour in photoshop. (And I have just learnt about the smudge tool. Its pretty useful for shading huh?)

GoogleLogo3.jpgThe Legend of Google1039 viewsA Google holiday logo for February 21, the anniversary of the first Legend of Zelda game release date in Japan. (20 years as of 2006.) Yet another project done in my Graphics and Design class; the sword, sheild and Triforce were sketched by hand then scanned and colored on Photoshop 7.0. The images were then melded into the traditional Google logo. Yay for Zelda and Google! Hyperlink

ZoraCollab-Final-Elfwood.jpgFrom His Scaly Maw1038 viewsAt dusk, a creature of the murk in the mire comes birthing, from his scaly maw, a fiery missile. A hand-drawn, digital-work of classic fantasy.
This is a picture of a Zora, aka Zola, aka River Zora. I did this one as a collaboration with Cuccolady from VGF. She did the final lines for the Zora, I added in bits and did the background, colors, & additional shading.Psytronic
