Update: Apologies for the downtime

Our server got hacked on Tuesday, not quite sure what the vulnerability that caused it was. Since this happened twice before in the last month and each attempt at securing the server failed, I had no choice but to get a whole reinstall setup and restore the websites from backup. Hopefully we're safe now!

Update: English Manga!

Hey y'all. You know those scanlated manga pages Zelda Legends host for you? Well the first volume of the Ocarina of Time manga adaptation has been licensed, and will be released in North America on October 7th. For legal reasons, then, we shall remove our scanlated version, and try and do the same in accordance with all manga releases. I hope you enjoyed the scanlations while we had them, but thanks for buying the manga and supporting our favorite series. You ARE going to buy, right? :D

Update: Fan Art Gallery fixed

Shockingly, uploads have been broken in the Fan Art Gallery for several months now. Once again, the complaints didn't work their way all the way up to me, so I was blissfully unaware there was a problem. Anyway, the problem is fixed now so please resume uploading!

Update: Ongoing Story updates

In yet another shocking revelation, I discovered that the Ongoing Story section was backlogged with unapproved stories since January 2007. This unfortunate situation has been rectified, and now 12 new stories are available for your creative little imaginations to continue!

I also noticed that only the latest 10 stories were displaying. I have fixed it so it now displays all the stories.

If anyone is interested in moderating the Ongoing Story section, please let me know.

Update: Three new affiliates

Today we have accepted affiliation with three new web sites:

• GameValor, a gaming web site
• Prima Games, known for their game guides
• Zelda Temple, a pretty well-rounded, well-established Zelda site

Update: Fan Fiction Updates

I just dropped by to check up on things, and noticed that the fan fiction section was not working. Apparently, so many loving Zelda fans posted stories that my caching mechanism was overwhelmed, causing errors left and right.

This error has now been corrected, so the fan fiction section is up and running again. There was a backlog of unapproved stories going back to January, so I went ahead and approved all 18 of them. They can be read here.

If anyone is interested in helping moderate the Fan Fiction section, please let me know.

Gamefaqs has a top 10 list of video game myths posted. Gamefaqs had this listed as a spoiler, so I will pass it off as a potential spoiler as well.

Of note is Ocarina of Time made it to number 2!

Nintendo News: Wii controller set is gonna get shorter

The Tanooki is reporting that due to a lawsuit, Nintendo is gonna have to stop selling the Gamecube controllers, Wavebirds, and Classic controllers due to patent infringements.

Update: Betanews is reporting that Nintendo is being sued by another company over alleged patent infringements of the Wii Remote itself. Is it just me, or does it seem like people are just coming out because Nintendo is making insane money off the Wii?
