The purpose of this feature is to list the awards that the Zelda series and individual Zelda games have won over the years. I would like to thank for starting this list and providing the motivation. This is what cent208 has to say about the list:

"I decided to compile this list because I’m sure there is disagreement among the video game community of what is the greatest game of all time or what is the greatest video game series of all time. So I decided to compile this list to prove more objectively that the LoZ series is the greatest of all time. If one of your friends tries telling that Final Fantasy is better than Zelda just email them this list. It is my personal opinion that A Link to the Past is the Greatest Game of All Time but I am not an expert on this topic. Even though I have played countless games I am not an expert (like the rest of you) on this topic because I don’t play all of the new games that come out. I feel the only experts are those that write for the video game magazines because they play more games than any of us. I decided not include small video game sites awards in this award list. I also did not include awards for only Nintendo systems, e.g. 2002 Gameboy Advance Game of the Year. I am sure LoZ won more awards than are listed below but unfortunately I’m not aware of every award so I need all of your help to post any other awards that are not listed below. I am especially looking for awards that a Link to the Past or the original LoZ might have won as well awards from Japanese publications. I suspect video game awards may not have been awarded in the late 80’s/early 90’s. I am also interested in perfect scores that Zelda games have won over the years. For example, I remember Electronic Gaming Monthly awarding a few Zelda games perfect 10/10 scores but I can’t remember which ones. Thanks for your help."
