Chapter 2: Chapter 1 Part 2
-He took a hold of the reins and turns his horse around and turned back to Hyrule. He had to get some answers from Zelda. As for Zelda, she was now showing Akako to her room, “I’m sorry my room won’t be near yours, Akako. My room is in the tower.” She explained the princess just nodded her head. She was mostly looking at everything she walked past, tin suits of armor around every door. Paintings of the Castle and some other stuff. Soon Zelda brought Akako to the main floor mostly on that floor was a few guards who were walking up and down the stairs a few at the bottom of the stairs.
Soon Zelda showed Akako, to the gardens, “This is where were we use to play when we were younger.” She said, the princess turned to her, “How did we meet…?” she questioned, Zelda looked at her then thought about it, “Use to when I was younger, I would always get bored of my teachers, and I would always find a way to sneak off. I always snuck off to the Royal Gardens, I was eventually caught. I remember, one day I was in my bedroom while waiting for my teacher to come. And I happen to look past Ordon Province and I saw another land past the Province. I never heard anything about the Kingdom so when my teacher came I asked her, and she explained to me.”
Zelda got carried away a bit; she looked at the other Princess and smiled slightly, “I’m sorry. Actually, I always got bored of my teacher’s, I learned everything about your Kingdom and I wanted to know what it was like. My father would never let me go because I needed to study.” She added, “One day, I was really bored of my teacher so. I snuck off, I was able to sneak on a Wagon that was on its way to Ordon Province, and it didn’t take that long.”
“When I got into the Province I got off and walked around to where I was at the lake of Ordona I saw a small hole, only big enough for a child. Lucky I was a child” she explained “I found myself in a huge field. Bigger than Hyrule Field. I remember seeing someone on a horse I’m not sure where the person came from. He asked me if I needed a lift, and asked me where I was going. I was just wondering if the Kingdom had a Princess or Prince my age. Someone who was my age to play with.” She said, “So I told him the Kingdom, and he took me there. I walked around until I met you; you were in the South Western Road playing around with one of the dogs and the children. You were the first to come up to me and introduce yourself to me.”
She finished and looked at Akako. Before she could response a guard came up to Zelda and whispered, “Someone is here to see you, your highness.” She looked at him, “Who is it?” she asked, “Someone by the name of Oni-Link.”
Akako heard the name Oni, “He came back? Why?” she thought to herself she acted like she didn’t hear anything.
“Akako, if you wouldn’t mind please excuse me for one moment.” Zelda said while standing up. Akako looked at her confused, “A-alright…” she whispered,
A guard walked with Zelda to the front, “I thought you left, but you have something to ask?” she questioned, he stood there looking at her, “What does Dorjan want with her? And Why must I protect a mortal such as her?” he demeaned for questions Zelda just narrowed her eyes, “I don’t even know myself why he wants her, and I guess for you. I’m guessing to please the goddesses?” she answered before he was about to give her a remark a few guards ran out of the Castle, “Princess Zelda,” one of the guards from the Castle town began, “One of the townsfolk said that they have saw Dark Link outside the Castle, on the Southern gate.”
“What?” Zelda shouted, the princess was looking at Zelda who was talking to both the guard and Deity, she then saw him leave without saying anything to Zelda but not before making eye contact with her. “…”
She told Zelda that she was going to be in her room. Zelda had a guard escort her to her room and to make sure that Dark Link wouldn’t get to her.
Unfortunately, the guard was Dark Link.
“I’m worried for Oni’s, safety I hope he’ll be ok...” she said to herself, the guard reassured her, “Don’t worry Princess, he will come back.” Then he added, “Only dead.”
She turned around, “What?” Dark Link took off his disguise; the Princess was now scared and shocked. “You, but how” she asks, he smirked at her and said, “Easy. I killed a guard and put this on and they think I’m a guard.” He explained, she tried to get away but he refused to let her out of his sight, she saw a vase near by and threw it at him. All he did was dodge it.
She then thought of something and tried it; she stepped on his foot hard and pulled his hat down covering his entire face.
She ran from her room hoping she could find either a guard, Link, Zelda or a hiding place. She found a room and locked herself in a room full of all kinds of weapons, she had no idea what to do, but for now, all she could do was get a sword and try to fight with it.
As soon as she did more memories came back to her this time she picked up another sword and as soon as the door was busted down, Dark Link came in and was surprised to see the Princess standing there with two swords in both hands.
He said to her, “So can you even fight with that weapon?” she had a serious look in her eyes, and she told him “You want to try?” He charged at her, she blocked his sword with her two swords.
They fought for hours; he was surprised that she could keep up with him.
---
Deity got to the Southern gate where he heard that Dark Link was at and didn’t see nothing. No Blood, no fights, nothing. But he knew it was a trap and a lie just to get him out of Hyrule Castle. The Princess of Armon was in danger thanks to him.
“Damn it, I shouldn’t have left her alone.” He mentally cursed himself turning his horse back around riding back off into the Castle.
Akako now has Dark Link on the ground with the tip of her sword under his chin, “I suggest you surrender!” she exclaimed, he just smiled wickedly “Surrender?” he said confusing the Princess. He then kicked her legs out from underneath her and tried to cut her in half but she got her sword between her face and his sword.
Akako was scared, she thought she would never be able to regain all her memories back or see Oni again. “Oni, I wish I could know more about you….." She thought to herself, Dark Link somehow gotten her sword out of her hands, and he was really about to kill her.
She was getting more scared, “Oni” she cried out and just about when he was going to kill her, another sword stopped his only this time it was the Helix Sword.
“Oni” she said she could tell that he was happy to see her alive. “Princess get out of here and find a safe place.” She shook her head, “I can’t get past him and there’s no way I can hide in here….and….I want to help you fight him.” She blurted out.
Dark Link just stood there then said, “Yea, let the Princess fight I mean she’s real good at using a sword.” He said smirking Deity looked at her, “You fight?” he asked she nodded her head.
“If she does go and hides again, I might lose this time and he’ll go after her or either kill her or even take her to Dorjan. I won’t let neither one of those happen to her, but I do want to please the goddesses.” He thought “Princess, instead of hiding. Let’s fight together.” He suggested she was slightly shock. Did she hear right? Did he say ‘Let’s fight together’? They turned back around and noticed he was gone, Deity didn’t know what to do know that he escaped, he knew he still had to protect Princess Akako no matter what.
The next day, Akako was still confused to know if she heard what he said was right or not.
Deity was talking to Princess Zelda asking her how long it will take Akako to regain her memories. “I don’t know I really don’t. The only thing I can tell you is it might work by, trying to take her back to the Kingdom Armon.” She explained.
“Understood.” He respond he then started to feel slightly different, Zelda got up from her throne and left going to Akako’s room which was in the same area as the tower to her bedroom.
The same room where she was locked in when Zant came and took over her kingdom and cast Twilight over it.
After quite sometime, she got to Akako’s room she knocked on the door before entering, she came in, “Akako I have some good news to tell you.” She smiled, and sat down beside the Princess. “What is it?” she asked,
Zelda spoke up, “You’re going home, back to Armon.” She said the princess just sat there, “What do you mean I’m going home?” She questioned Zelda smiled at her, “Oni will be taking you home and maybe you might be able to regain your memories.” She said, the princess just said “Oh”
“Oni, is coming with me to take me home?” she thought.
Fierce Deity was going to Akako’s room when he saw the Princess Zelda coming from that direction she just looked at him and walked on. As for the Princess she was just laying on her bed thinking of something to tell him that she’s in love with him.
He came to her room and saw that her door was left open; he knocked before entering her room. “Princess do get ready because we’ll be leaving at night.” He said and left,
Later that night, Fierce Deity and Akako set off to Armon so she can hopefully regain her memories, the ride was silent, he didn’t say a thing to the princess and she didn’t know what to say to him even he looked ahead “Looks like there’s a fog and its thick. We better stop and rest here for the night, Princess.” He said getting off his horse and helping the Princess down.
“Is it safe here?” she asked he told her not to be scared that he’s there.
---
Ganondorf and Dorjan were wondering where the Princess was, “If she’s no longer in Hyrule Castle then where is she. She couldn’t have disappeared.” He stated,
---
Morning came quick; when Akako opened her eyes Deity was already getting supplies on his horse. “I went to get some supplies from Kakariko Village.” He explained, “Where? There’s no village in sight…” her voice trailed off he pointed in the direction, “Follow that path and it will take you to the Eldin Province and stay on the path and it will take you to the Village.” He pointed out
“Oh…” was all she said, “H-how far are we from…Armon…?” she asked, he looked at the path, “Not much, since we’re still in Faron Province, we still have to cross over to Ordona Province then from there…I’m not sure, I’ve never been there. From What I heard, only a few people made it there and back.” He explained, she walked over to him he helped her on his horse then got on behind her himself.
---
Zelda was outside of the throne room looking out to Hyrule Field hoping that Akako would be safe. “Zelda, you know they still have to cross from Lanayaru Province, to Faron Province, and to Orodona Province.” Said a voice, she turned her head to see Link coming from inside the Castle. “Yes, I know. But I’m just worried, Ganondorf is up to something…” she said and looked at the Tri-force mark that’s on her right hand.
Link knew she was worried and didn’t know what to do; all he knew was that Ganondorf was up to something.
---
Once they had passed Orodona, they were in a dessert which was just a wasteland like the Gerudo Dessert in the Dessert Province. In a far off distance all they could see was a dot, Deity wasn’t sure if it was the Castle or a village so he nudged his horse and rode off to that direction.
With the sun high in the sky it was burning down on them, and with the sand. It was only making matters harder. Akako placed the back of her hand against her forehead, she was hot. She wanted something to drink but Deity told her that they must keep what water he got before they left Faron Province saved in case something happens.
She agreed.
After a very long and hot ride they finally see what it appears to be a huge fence. It had to gates so it appears that anyone can come and go as they please. He nudges his horse again in the sides and it walked in walking at a slow but steady pace.
Two guards blocked their path, “Halt! You’re from Hyrule, state your business here.” He said, Deity just took the Princess’s left hand and lifted it up showing the guard the ring on her left hand which meant Royalty.
The guards gasped and bowed down, “Your Highness!! You have awakened at last. We have been waiting for your arriving Princess.” Said the one on the left “What village is this?” questioned Deity, the guards didn’t bother looking up at either one of them “This is Julius Village.” Said the other on the right “The dessert which you just came from is Ishmael.” He added.
Deity nodded lightly and now noticed that the sun was beginning to set. “Is there an Inn of some sort to stay in?” he asked, the guards both nodded.
The one on the left pointed, “It’s just a down this path, it’s the tall building with the Blue Roof on it. You can’t miss it.” He explained. Akako was mostly looking at the village, it seemed a peaceful village and it had grass instead of dirt. Mostly all the villagers where walking around not paying attention to anything that’s going on.
Deity had his horse follow the path, when he got to the Inn; he got down and told Akako to stay there that he’ll be right back.
She slide off the side of the horse and stayed with it while it drank some water. She gently placed her hands on the side of its face and gently stroked its fur.
---
Deity walked into the Inn, the lady behind the counter was going through the book that lay on the counter in front of her seeing for who knows what. Seeing if there are any more rooms, he walked up to the counter and pulled out a bag of gold coins which carried a thousand coins in it. “I need two rooms.” He stated nearly. The woman looked at him slightly shocked since he demanded for two rooms. She gulped and looked at her book quickly, “Um…t-there a-are t-t-two r-rooms available o-on the f-f-f-first f-floor…” she stuttered.
“How much?” he asked, she looked at him again then said “One Hundred Gold for every night…” her voice trailed off. “We’ll only be here for one night.” He said and gave her One Hundred Gold coins and took the keys and walked back outside.
---
The Princess noticed that some villagers where looking at her and whispering things to each other, that made her feel uncomfortable there. She looked up when she heard footsteps and saw Oni coming back. He walked over to her “We’ll be staying here for tonight.” He said, she softly nodded her head and followed him inside.
He takes her to the first floor and gave her a key, “This will be the key to your room.” He said, “What about food….?” She asked in a whisper he sighed and pulled out his bag of coins and gave it to her and told her to go and get something to eat and went to his room and shut the door behind him.
The Princess just stood there confused and had no idea on where to go, she looked down at her dress and slightly sighed, if she goes out everyone will know she’s a princess. Instead she just went to her room which was right beside his and unlocked the door and went in and closed it behind her. Her room was like any other, small one bed in the middle of the room, a fireplace to her left which had the fire going, a table to her right which had a couple of chairs pushed in a flower vase which had just any old random flower in it.
The walls were green and the floor was just wood, the princess just sighed and walked over to the window and looked out. All she saw was mostly children playing with each other or playing with the dog. Seeing that made the princess smile.
She soon stretched and walked over to her bed and just lay down, since she had nothing to change in there’s no point in wearing a slip or anything. Before she got too comfortable she sat up and took her hair down which fell to her waist. She removed her shoes and the sleeves that were on her arms and placed her shoes beside her bed and the sleeves on top of her shoes.
She laid back down and turned on her side and was soon asleep.
To be continued…
