The Saviors of Two Worlds

Zelda's eyes cracked open. Above her,she could see stone ceiling and all around stone. The wall to the right had long vertical and horizontal metal bars criss-crossing each other so that they couldn't get out. She looked to her side and saw Link and Sakura strewn on the cell floor. Navi was stuck in a hanging bottle above them. She was seemed to be saying something,but with the thick glass,Zelda couldn't hear a thing.

Sakura stirred and sat up. Her eyes scanned the room and then she looked at Zelda and asked "Where are we?"

Zelda shrugged and said"I don't know. I just woke up."

At that time,a low growl could be heard and Sakura got up and ran to the bars. She looked down the hallway saw Eternity and let out a sigh of relief.Magical chains constricting her but then her growl turned into a hum as the dragon saw her,safe and sound.Well,as safe as it was going to get.

Behind her,Link awoke,shaking his head out of unconciousness. He, too looked around and wondered where they were,other then a jail cell. He noticed that there were no windows.

'Strange,'he thought,'Normally there's at least one window.'

That's when they all heard reverberating footsteps coming. Then a dark shadow and then a sudden powerful,dark aura. It was more powerful then they had ever felt. A man stood at the cell door,or at least they thought it was a man.

His face was so pale it looked transperant almost and was strecthed over his skin so that his face looked like a skull in the flickering candlelight of the halls. His hair was blood-red with dark black and purple streaks. HIs golden eyes burned with a madness that was rarely seen. It was the madness of one who is in power and finds himself in the position to use it. He wore a dark crimson tunic that embellished with royal blue thread. He wore a strange black belt and there was a thin sword at his left hip.

He looked at Sakura,who had taken a step back,with distaste. He then turned his terrible gaze to the two Hylians and looked at them with narrowed eyes. He glanced at Link and then looked back at the wall where their weapons were. He seemed to come to an understanding then,for he said in the coldest of tones that sent shivers down their spines and made the hair on the back of their necks stand on end,"The Hero of Time,a Hylian princess and an escaped dragon demon rebel.Some of the most powerful beings in my grasp. Certainly Ganondorf is going to want to see you two Hylians."

Sakura bristled at his words. Zelda and Link glared at him. So he was working with Ganon ,was he? Link however,spoke first.

"Who are you and what do you want?"he demanded.

"My name is of little consequence to people such as yourselves. As for what I'm doing here...I was told that there were three new prisoners in the underground chambers,so I came to investigate."

"So what do you want with us?"Sakura asked him,steel coming to her voice.It was an obvious question with a few obvious answers,but there had to be more.

"What do you think?",he sneered at her,"Are you so deaf that you did not hear what I just said?'

"Answer my question!"

A smirk came to the mans face,stretching his skin even more across his face.He then turned and told them over his shoulder"Don't worry.You'll be dead in a few days anyway,so there won't be much use for you."and then he was up the winding stairs and out of sight.

Outside,they could hear Eternity roaring at him. Sakura sunk down against the wall and put a few fingers to her forehead and closed her eyes to think.The dark aura never left the place as the three companians sat on the cold cell floor in a silence filled with thought. Was there even a way out of here?
