Return of Majora

There were two green figures, just outside the swamp in the south. One was holding a glowing bottle and the other was holding a map. They were ready to throw those objects, into opposite directions. One of them, the younger one, said “three...Two...One...NOW!” The older one, Tingle, the map maker threw the map but, the younger one, Link, held the fairy and grabbed the map. He then ran away as fast as he could, shouting “See ya!” Link had tricked Tingle and now had both the map AND the fairy.


“Heh heh heh! That was just too easy! I have the map, and...” He looked at the closed bottle “Sorry, little fellow!” He said as he opened it. The fairy flew out, with a slight tingling sound.

“Thank you so much,” It said, its voice tiny like that of a mouse...if one had a voice, that is. “for rescuing me from that man!”

“No problem!” Link said, and then started walking into the swamp.

"My name is Tæl, what about you?"

"Link. By the way, do you know what he was going to do with you?"

"No, I don't, actually. But it can't have been good, though..."

"I agree. Never trust someone wierd like that..."

And then, they went to the swamp, all three; The Hylian, the Deku and the fairy.


“Hey! Monkeys! Where are you?” He shouted, but no answer came. “Where are those damn things? I brought your stupid map!”

“You did?” came a voice from behind Link.

Link turned around immediately, and almost fell, with his shield in the right hand defending him, and the sword in the left, ready to strike.......“Don’t startle me like that!” he said, when he saw that his attacker was just a monkey.

“You were calling us, so we come, and you only angry?” the monkey definitely didn’t know much about hylians......“You have the map?”

“Yes, I have the map. The bloody map.”

“Good! Now, the map not show whereabouts of castle, because the castle has been ruined for a long time. But, if you want to visit the ruins-”

“Wait a minute...you said the castle was there...you lied?”


“No no, castle there, only ruined.”

“And there’s no survivors!?” Link was absolutely furious at the monkeys.

“They’re...gone?” Link heard a small voice.

“I...I’m sorry.” he said to the poor scrub, trapped in the mask

“Eh?” said the monkey “You talking to yourself?” odd fellow, the monkey thought he both wear skirt AND talk to himself “But, there be survivors, but they live on top of Woodfall Mountain. But only monkey and Deku can get there. And even monkeys now not can get there because of poisonous water!”

Only Deku, eh? Link thought

“Shall we go there?” The Deku said to Link

Of course! Why ask the obvious? “Well, thanks monkeys!”

“But what about directions to Woodfall?” the Deku said

Don’t worry; it’s all here on the map!

And then, after having once again turned into the Deku form, Link went to Woodfall!

Hmm...strange...turning into a Deku...very strange...
