Chapter 1: prelude

It was late at night. Link was doing what he did every night. Hunting monsters. Link, although only a boy of eleven, was no stranger to bloodshed. In fact, he participated in combat so often, it barely even fazed him. This particular night he was tracking a pack of wolfos through the lost woods. As he approached the group, it suddenly scattered. At that exact moment, Link felt a familiar presence. Pocketing his bow and drawing his sword, he took up a defensive stance. “who’s there?” he asked cautiously. A voice answered. “Seriously Link, I would have thought you to have been canny enough to recognize the sound of your own mind.” Link’s ears perk up at the familiar voice. Muscles tightening even more, he answered “I know none who can make such a claim, now show yourself!” and sure enough, moments later, link was face to face with himself.

My goodness that is very short, but it is the first chapter so I'll approve it for now. Please try hold off on the next chapter until you can add more than one paragraph and please add some spaces between the dialogue - makes for easier reading on the net

ex:
"Blah blah blah," Link said angrily.

"Neh ne ne neh neh!" shouted the miniblin in reply.

"I'll get you for that!" Link shouted back.

i didn't see any grammer mistakes.Good story. it would be better if you added more description. but other than that you sure can write!
