The Five Links

Trees gently swayed in the breeze, and animals all carried out their day in the woods surrounding Death Mountains's foothills.Green patted some dirt off of his tunic as he, Vio, Blue, and Zelda headed for the portal that connected both their worlds. The Dark Mirror. Blue was dashing ahead of the others for he was set on saving Red. Vio was behind Green, who was behind Zelda and Blue. They were all hurrying to the Tower of Flames so they could hopefully use the mirror to enter the dark version of their world.
"Link! My feet are sore!", Zelda complained. Zelda was getting weary from all of the running that they had been doing all day, (nevertheless she did all that running with high-heels...) so Green picked her up and carried her in his arms. Vio was keeping a close eye on their surroundings for he suspected that Vaati wouldn't let them get by so easily. Blue just kept on running ahead of the entire group.

"I think we're almost there. If I can remember correctly from the last time I was here...", Vio stated, remembering when he tricked the other Links, and where he be-friended Shadow. Green nodded, Blue didn't seem to notice. Suddenly Vio's ears twitched. "What's that sound?", he questioned. Suddenly a group of monsters, to be more precise, Cyclopses; lept out from a bush. Vio reacted swiftly, and grabbed his bow. "Watch out guys!", Vio warned, Zelda shrieked as a monster grabbed her. Green drew his sword and charged at the monster.

"KAITENGIRI*!!!", Green shouted as he used his spin attack against the Cyclops. It released it's grip on Zelda, and Green helped her up. Blue came back and fought the cyclopses with the others. Blue wiped his sword off with a ripped piece of cloth. Vio began to glance around to see if there were anymore monsters around. Green watched as he came back.

"Anything out of the ordinary?", Blue asked. Vio shook his head. He then looked up to see the setting sun.

"We probably should set up camp...", Vio stated calmly, he pointed towards a small grove ahead. "That seems like a good place for us to stay. " Green, Blue, and Zelda all nodded.

The forest had a differernt feel at night, for now instead of the warm glow of the sun, there was only the ghostly glow of the moon between the trees. Blue was poking at the fire, while Green and Zelda sat aside and talked to eachother. Vio noticed that they were in low supply of firewood so he decided he was going to head off into the woods to gather some more.

"I'm gonna go get some more firewood, and see if I can find any natural healing plants just in case of an emergency.", Vio stated as he grabbed his scabbard. Green got up and walked over to Vio.

"Do you want me to come with you?", Green asked.

"No, I'll be fine.", Vio smiled. Green smiled back.

"Okay". Green stated, "just don't wander off to far..." Vio nodded, then he headed out towards the woods. Green then walked over to Blue, and sat by him.

"Are you okay Blue?", Green asked. Blue nodded as he gazed into the fire.

"Yeah, I'm fine...", Blue said."I just wanna make sure we get him back. So don't think of me as a sissy or any of that crap.", Blue smirked. Green smiled.

"Well, that sounds like the imbecile I'm used too.". Green smirked as he looked into the sky, Zelda giggled. Blue then turned sharply to Green.

"What'd you say?", Blue growled.


Vio walked through the dark woods by maneuvering his way around stumps, roots, and rocks. He occasionally stopped whe nhe heard an animal scurry around him. Something seemed out of the ordinary for him, he couldn't think of what but it seemed like he was being followed...Then he sudenly heard the snap of a twig behind him. He spun around quickly like a cat, only to catch a glimpse of a figure before he was pinned to a tree. Vio struggled to break free of the figure's grasp, but he couldn't. The moon shinned through the branches above and revealed the figure. It was...
