The Five Links

"Shadow!", Vio yelled while trying to escape Shadow's grasp. Vio knew Shadow was smirking for the bright moon revealed his one sharp tooth that was more of a fang. "Let me GO Shadow!", Vio stated firmly.

"Look Vio, I'm here under strict orders...", Shadow smirked. Vio watched as Shadow began to release his grip, and wandered over into the middle of the clearing. Even though Vio was free from Shadow's grasp, he remained inert, and he didn't move for Shadow could've easily struck him down while he was unarmed.

"Vaati has told me to destroy you guys whenever I get the chance." Shadow stated bluntly as he took Vio's sword and examined it.

Vio watched his movements closley, for Shadow wasn't acting as he normally would, so Vio kept a close vigil on him. Shadow walked slowly, and calmly about the clearing.

"So, Vio, how's life been for you recently?", Shadow questioned. Vio just glared at him. "Heh, OoOoOo, real scary!'' Shadow laughed sarcastically. Then he tossed Vio's sword just so it landed in front of Vio. Vio's breath stopped, then speed up a little.

" Hmph, well why don't you reclaim your weapon?", Shadow asked,"It's right in front of you!" Vio looked at his sword and then up at Shadow. Shadow then gestured Vio to pick it up. Vio hesitated, but then grabbed his sword. Shadow smirked, and Vio smiled back.

" Now, my DEAR friend,", Shadow said. "I challenge you to a fight!"
Vio froze up at the word 'fight'. He couldn't fight Shadow, they ARE best friends after all.

"Well? Are you ready?", Shadow asked impatiently.

"All clear Midna!", Red said as he sidled along the wall's of Dark Hyrule Castle's dungeon. Midna quietly followed Red through the catacombs, their path was illuminated only by the flames of the torches on the brick walls and it smelled of Moblins(which smell bad, sor of like the smell of spoiled milk or rotting eggs EWW!)

"Man this castle is huge, and it's guards....they are so hostile. Are these how all of the castles are in your realm?", Midna whispered. Red paused, and turned to face Midna.

" 'Your realm'? What do you mean Midna?", Red asked his sapphire eyes wide with curiosity. Midna turned to face him but her red eyes widened at the sight of something behind Red. Red turned slowly, and there stood a huge, ugly Moblin standing behind them. Red and Midna's eyes met, and they screamed in unison:

"RUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!" Both Red and Midna started runing through to corridors in an attempt to esacape the hideous beast, and they did.

"Haaa...haa...haa..", Red panted as he and Midna hid in an empty corridor.

"That was too close!" Midna stated, "One more incident like that and we'll be caught for sure, those replicas I made of us won't last forever, someone will catch on eventually!"

"I'm sorry Midna-chan". Red said," We need to get out of here though or we're goners..." Midna looked at him with disappointment in her eyes.

"I don't even want to be here! I never did anything wrong to that damn wizard!" , Midna angrily stated. Red looked at her, but then he turned his attention to a door at the end of the hallway. Light was coming from underneath the crack at the bottom.

"Midna! Look!", Red exclaimed as he pointed to the door. Midna's expression brightened, and they both made a dash for the door. Once they opened it, their expressions became even more joyous. They were in Lost Woods in the world of Light. To be more specific they were in front of the Froest Temple. But Midna began to feel light-headed. Red spun around just in time to catch her before she fell.

"Are you alright?!", Red asked. Midna got up to her feet a little.

"Yeah, it's just that it's so different in this place then where I come from..." Midna smiled. Red smiled a little.

"Well, we made it!", Red cheered,"but, why does the Dark Hyrule Castle have a door that leads to right outside the Forest Temple?" He turned to Midna.

"I don't know...it seems a little odd.", Midna remarked, "a door right to the World of Light....it just seems awkward. I mean they'd have to be stupid to try and invade here, the people who guard the woods would surely attack them first."

Red nodded, " Well, at least we got out of there...", Red smiled. "Hey Midna..."

She glanced at Red, "Yeah?"

"Why did the guards throw you in the dungeon?", Red asked.

Midna looked down at her feet, her markings were glowing in the darkness of the forest. "Well...let me explain Red."

*CLANG, CLANG, CLANG!*
Vio and Shadow's swords clashed together and they glimered underneath the moon's light.

"Shadow please stop!", Vio pleaded. He had a couple of cuts on his arm, and a small scrape on his face. his plead had no use though, for Shadow kept on attacking. Vio blocked another one of Shadow's attacks.

"I already told you, I'm under orders, and I won't leave until they are COMPLETELY DONE!", Shadow laughed. "It's either die now...or join the darkness..."

Vio paused. "Is Shadow trying to get me to join them agian?!" Vio thought.
" What am I going to do?!", Vio thought.
