Submission Example

This is an example of an incorrect submission.
As you can (or maybe you can’t) see, there is only one line of separation between each paragraph. It may have some typos in it.
This renders the paper much harder to read…… This paper also has incorrect punctuation- if you’re going to use the ellipse (the … mark), that’s fine, but be sure to only use three period marks.
This paragraph is indented, but you can’t see it. That’s because Word’s indentations do not transfer into web documents very often. In fact, a *.doc file will never properly transfer into the net cleanly- so if you’re going to use a file that you’ve already written on your computer, then save that file as HTML before copying it over.

This is an example of a correct submission.

As you can see, there is a full line of blank space between each paragraph.

This makes it easy to read and understand, and conforms with Web standards. This submission also has good punctuation, and has been spellchecked by a machine. You never know when you’ll overlook something that your computer won’t.

If you want to use HTML or other special formatting in your fic, talk to KR. I’ll be glad to walk you through how to use special formatting, or I’ll even do it for you if I have time to.

I really enjoy doing this, and hope to see a lot of neat writings from you guys! Please, do not be intimidated or set off by the rules or other members, they’re here to help you write your best!
