There was also, nothing mentioned about the girl behind Link. Hopefully we may hear something about her between now and the next E3.
Update: For those who kept fighting about the girl, saying she's the sword or she's a fairy. For those who said she's a fairy nice try, for those who said she's the sword you are correct, she turns into the Skyward Sword which will eventually turn into the Master Sword as well.
Also, instead of Link being born in a Village like Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess, he's born above the clouds on an island called Skyloft.
The Skyward Sword is Link's driving force behind his traveling between the two lands.
Check out Zelda Informer, they posted some rumors about the new Zelda game, some I highly doubt would be true other than that, it would be nice. So remember to watch it tomorrow which it begins 3PM EST.
First off, we have new chapters for the Phantom Hourglass manga. Not only Anime Council has released the third chapter, GlitterBerri also has picked up translating the manga and offered us her scanlations which go all the way to the end! You can find both scanlations here.
Lastly over at The BS Zelda Homepage after ten long years of work, we can finally say that the games have been restored into being as close to the way it originally was as possible. The only things that are still missing are the voice acting and CD quality music, but we re-enabled the SNES hardware music and recreated intro and ending sequences with on-screen transcriptions of the voice acting for those parts (and some others as well), well enough to fully appreciate the story. Zelda News: Ocarina of Time Remake confirmed

Well from what I can say is members of the Nintendo roundtable have confirmed the remake of Ocarina of Time to be on the 3DS. So now those of you who say there should be a remake can party. It looks a lot better than what it did for the N64. But as it is, there's no release date yet.Zelda News: New Title for Zelda announced

Mr. Miyamoto has just announced the new Zelda, the name of it is The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, the Master Sword is in it, Link is more Adult than what he was in both Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time. The Sword Beams have returned after 17 years from A Link to the Past. Press Z which I"m sure is the Target + A to have Link to jump. New items one is call the Beetle which can help Link get items, Whip, it can get items but not kill enemies on the ground but the Keese can be killed by the whip. The game will be released Next year sometime.

General News: E3 '10

Well E3 2010 starts tomorrow, and Tuesday Nintendo and Sony has the floor. As for me, I'll be taking notes on some games Zelda, Metroid Other M, and of course Mario for future games and future game consoles and also for the Nintendo DS/3D.

It has been confirmed by Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata, it's been confirmed that the new wii Zelda will be coming out sometime in 2010. It will also be shown at this year's E3. But unlike some of you, I'm not going to get my hopes up, it might get delayed. But we will see what's new at E3 2010.Update: It's that time again...

Within the upcoming week Spirit Tracks will become available in all regions of the world. North America has the premiere release today! All have fun with the game. In chronological order we have:
- 7th December - North America
- 10th December - Australia
- 11th December - Europe
- 23rd December - Japan
