Oracle of Seasons

The text in the Oracle ROMs is compressed, making it much more difficult to rip it and display it properly. Here is an older text dump made by EvilGiegue, as well the homebrewn TXT and HTML versions by Davogones. For the European version it may be pointed out that it translation is very poor in the sense of spelling. There are many errors in the script (in each languages there are at least a few obvious mistakes). Looking at how it was stored in the game there strong evidence that this game was rushed through the translation unit to get it shipped asap. Special thanks goes to Arturo for helping out with the decoding of special accented characters.

European Language Comparison Table
As with most modern games all of the dumps are in the same order so it's pretty easy to make a comparsion table like this one. Notice however that I had to modify certain messages manually, because the translation runs out of synch at certain points. I even had to insert a "NOT IN ROM" message for the French dialogue as it is missing one!
