Update: More Zelda Info

I want to thank my friend Hauu13 for telling me to look up GamePro on the net, which I did and I found this:

"The goal at this point is that we would make Wii MotionPlus required in order to play Zelda," said Miyamoto, speaking to Wired.com. The next title, announced for 2010 at this year's E3 is short on details at the moment, other than some impressive concept art released during E3. Though it sounds as if the next Zelda requiring MotionPlus is green-lit, Miyamoto also told GI.biz that "The potential for it becoming MotionPlus-only depends of course on how well Wii Sports Resort sells."

If Miyamoto gets his way, we should be able to look forward to the next Zelda packaged with the recently released $20 Wii MotionPlus add-on in 2010.

Let's cross our fingers and pray, hoping we'll get the new Zelda next year, but probably like Twilight Princess and Wind Waker it might end delayed.

I hope so too. Playing Zelda with the MotionPlus sounds like a great idea. After seeing the Wii Sports Resort in the E3 videos, it could be like actual swordfighting!

That's what I was thinking, too. I could see Miyamoto having plenty of fun with this new WiiMote accessory.

I hope neither Zelda gets delayed, but if they need to, they should. I don't want to get the game earlier only for it to be less than what it should be. (It'll probably still be good, though.)

I'm sure 2010 is a best-case scenario.

I also hope that if WM+ is bundled with the new Zelda, that it doesn't inflate the price too much.

Yea, Same. I don't want to end up buying the zelda game and it doesn't have the wii motionplus and I have to end up buying it...

This game already looks great! I've only read what I've found out about the game on this site and I've seen the astounding artwork and I just can't wait to find out more!

Yeah, hopefully we'll get some new artwork or possibly a trailer soon. I don't think I can make it 'til 2010...

I am a bit concerned about the price going up, but I already know I'll end up buying it despite the cost. No point in worrying too much about it.

Zelda, Mario, Metroid, No More Heroes, TMNT, Silent Hill, Final Fantasy, Golden Sun, and others. They were doing a '09 '10 preview thing.

Yeah, I'm really excited! The Metroid was called Other M, and they had a Super Mario Bros. coming out for Wii along with Mario Galaxy 2, and TMNT Super Smash Bros. style.

exactly. i grew up with zelda, mario, and metroid so those are top priority. i heard tmnt was going to be similar to smash bros so i'm looking forward to it. golden sun completely threw me off when i first heard about it (i loved the gba versions). nintendo is just full of win!

Metroid Trilogy is all three of the Prime Series which I'm a huge fan of Metroid as well Zelda ^^ it holds Prime, Echoes, and Corruption ^o^ I already have corruption on my wii and Prime and Echoes on my GCN, but I can't stand those two cause of the controls on the GCN. I like the Wii controls better ^^

Yep, because the Triolgy will have Prime and Echoes with new play so if you want to play them with the old controls play your GCN verisons if you want the new controls play your Wii with the new verisions
