The ending of Zelda 64 baffles me. Link finishes the Imprisoning War by sealing Ganon in the Dark World. But then he's sent back in time again, to before the Imprisoning War. What happens when Link grows up again? He won't fight the Imprisoning War again when he turns 17! Ganon is already sealed in the Dark World! The real question is how can there be any record of the Imprisoning War (as told in "A Link to the Past") if Link was sent back to his original time and didn't refight the Imprisoning War? Did everyone retain the knowledge of what had happened? This can't be possible; for example, Darunia's son Link hadn't even been born yet. How could he retain the knowlege that Ganondorf had kidnapped his people and imprisoned them in Death Mountain, if the event happened after he was born? There are more holes in the ending, assuming that "A Link to the Past" is the next game in the series. For example, how did the Master Sword get transferred from the Temple of Time to the Lost Woods? How did Ganon steal the other two pieces of the Triforce? How come all the descendants of the sages are all human, whereas the sages were made up of Gerudoes, Gorons, Zoras, Kokiri, Sheikah, and Hylians? How could they even have descendants, since they were called to the Sacred Realm to seal Ganon? Yours truly confused, -David Butler
