Actually you can name the horse yourself, but I think alot of people might name it Epona...cant think of any other good names for a horse anyway.

I'd name it Keaton It looks a lot like Epona though...I can see why people would just stick with the old name.

I agree absolutely. Epona in the Celtic means the queen of horses. Also, the main goddess.

And in Roman mythology Epona was regarded as the goddess of horses. I don't like the naming idea because the horse is female and besides back in 1997 Nintendo said you could call the OoT 'horse' whatever you liked, but when released they fixed the name to "Epona"....then again you can actually call "Link" whatever you like, but his name is still "Link" in the series.

The reason she looks like Epona from OoT/MM is that she is her descendant (hope that's the appropriate term in this case).

Riding a horse bareback is fun..you just need good balance...I would stick with Epona and she is so pretty

I mgiht imagine a enw name for her just for fun. She looks nothing olike the old Epona.

I know, Epona the goddess and Epona the horse probably are not going to look alike in any way, shape or form.
