interestign fact: all the kokiri names, with the exception of saria (and link i suppose) are made out of the singing scale (do ra mi fa so la ti) eg Fado, Mido, etc. one of those touches that really makes the Legend of Zelda awesome.

interesting. what very little education i have had in music (i used to sit in on a theory class during my lunch, but i didn't get that much from it *sigh*), it's always been (spelled phonetically this time)= doh ray mee fah so lah tee. that's very interesting that you use sol and si.

that's because in spanish there are some subtle differences *duh* i wonder which is the original- sol & si or so & ti. ( that was my sis speaking)

Yah Kokiri are my favorite race of Hyrule and the picture is incredible with them all toghter awesome workand it has fairies

no, I don't have any problem with your pics. I just want to know the original source or something about the pic because,well, you wrote nothing in the description, so it's kinda hard to figure these sort of things on our own, you know ^^; And why are you so angry? It's not like I'm insulting you or anything, nor I'm attacking you. I'm stating a point, that's all. If you don't want to have comparisions like that, you can always use original poses for your pics

Si no me estas insultando no parece lo contrario, por eso reacciono asi, pero si me decis que no es asi... te creo, pero me molestan estos tipos de comentarios porque siempre son dichos como si fuera algo malo tener una orientacion desde otra imagen, te aclaro unas cositas, dibujos como este son viejos, dificilmente hago eso ya, otra, no aclare nada en este dibujo porque en si las poses de los personajes estan cambiadas, el unico que tiene la pose original es Link

then just give the original source. it's not something difficult to do. and please, write at least a line about the pic, other than "this is my character, I like it", it's really difficult to make a good idea about the pic when you give us so little. And I'm not saying it's bad to trace a pic, as long as you give the source, it's only fair for the original artist.

well, in the old gallery we had this problem when I started to write in spanish and nobody understood me ^^; I'm just saving us the problems of confussion with non Spanish talking people. You did trace many of your pics, especially that one of Nihao my Concubine, the same poses, same proportions, same eyes, etc. You just changed the color and outfits. I use other people pics as a reference, and even if it's just small, I make sure the original artist get the credit, and never let people think I did it from scratch. I'm just asking you to have the same respect for other artists. When you post a pic that is 100% yours, then you can be sure I'll give you c+c, with most respect of my part. Until then

so, my spanish is rough at best, but magalink is basically saying that dan has insulted her, and that if he has an issue with her tracing then it should be just between them (hence the spanish). she also says that if dan continues have a problem with it, then he should leave her gallery and not return, because she claims that he has yet to give her credit for anything. _ _ _ anyone care to check on my tranlation? i haven't studied a foreign language in 2 years, and that was latin- i haven't studied spanish since i was 14. anyhow, the arguement needs to stop one way or the other, and the rules are clear... where's Zgirl when i need her...

dan, magalink has a point. while it is true that many of the poses are similar or the same, it's insulting to say that she traces pics when she just uses the pose. you've made your point already, it would be very, VERY nice if you could just leave it.

meh... i really wish i understood spanish, i usually have to get by through my knowledge of latin and intelligent guesswork. _ _ _ please don't leave though, there are plenty of ways of talking that are remotely connected to the pic. i'm pretty well know for having huge, rambling posts that have only a sentence or two about the pic in them. the reason i'm not commenting on the pic now is that i already have, pretty thoroughly.

OK, I don't know who wrote that in the description, but it's not true. This is not a trace. This was one of the first pics I did having another pic as a reference (and I re-did it after a looooong time) and I think anyone with a brain could tell that this isn´t traced, ' cause if you look at the other pic, the only one with a similar pose is Link and maybe Mido if I remember correctly (by the way, you gave a wrong link to the pic, but since I can't edit the description I can't change it) there are more kids in this pic and I gave them the pose they have. And I didn't deleted any description ' cause I didn't make any to begin with!!

Im think most of us believe that you didn't trace the pic. The admins might want to note that the link is to a pic that is COMPLETELY different to this one. I mean, whatever was that person thinking??

yeah, that link is wrong, it's for the decendents of the Wise Men picture. Magalink, i think we could avoid all this controversy if you just link to where you got the pose. From what i've seen, it's pretty clear that you have NOT traced any pics, and your drawings look only loosely based on the original. you just use the pose, which isn't a problem if you give credit. so... give credit in the future. and in case i haven't commented on this yet, i think it's great, like usual. the guy in the back looks sort of weird, though. and again, i will say to the admins: either find the REAL pic she based this off of, or take that "description" out. and take the word "trace" out either way.
