I took quite awhile to color it, then at the last second applied a crazy effect to it, and it turned into this, which I thought was cool. It looks like an etching in stone that was stained the proper colors or something. He's supposed to be in the zora-tunic but the last-second edit makes it VERY dark. And the eye turned out kinda strange...not the perfectest job but I thought we needed something different than my usual stuff.dudeofrandomness

I was going to put the triforce in the background, then i was going to do the Zora's Sapphire, but then i realised that would take AGES for the way i wanted them to look lol, so now you know why there are highlights in the clouds
Anyway, what do you guys think? OH and if you look up close at the black netting thing, you will see the pretty pretty detail i put in!! It is like detailed embroidery!! or what ever you call it :p lol

Well... imagine how depressed and shocked he was at the beginning, when he finally woke up from the seal the Master Sword put on him. Having lost all that time and then having to save Hyrule almost by himself! That's what I'm trying to express with this picture. I hope you like it. It took a lot of effort and I think I finally got better at making the clouds and the sky. Just watching how Link's hair turned out to be (thanks, tablet-chan X3 ) makes me drool, and he's the best hero in the history of videogames!!! XD AHHH! Somebody stop me from fainting! *faints and drools some more*

ok, this is based off of two things: los's article thingy about the clouds, and the new screenshot of the snow. I've been restraining myself with difficulty from sticking snow in every one of my pictures, because snow makes stuff look good. and now, i have a reason to put it in! yay!!!
you may notice i did the bluish tint. in the screen, it was more of streaks than dots, but i can't do that, so oh well.
i know that hyrule field is a field, but i think it would be awesome to ride epona up and down little hills, like these.
this was simple to make, but i like how it came out. it looks... big. the_ocarina_of_time

the calm before....JPGThe Calm Before...291 viewsanyone who's seen the trailers of twilight princess has noticed that the weather sorta varies a bit. there are a lot of storms, and i've noticed cloud shadows, which gave me the idea for this. i also got some inspiration from the incredibly green light that was outside my window while doing this. so, here is some (somewhat) realistic weather i hope to see--tell me if it's overdone, especially the greenness. and yes, it's snowy. for one thing, i'd like to see snow in tp, and for another, the lighting just didn't show up on grass.the_ocarina_of_time

the calm before.gifThe Calm Before...384 viewswell, here's my second landscape animation. for info on how this actually relates to zelda, check the first one. this actually looks a lot like the tp weather, with the moving clouds and the cloud shadows. this is actually another sunset (you can see part of the sun on the--hold on--the right side). and the clouds aren't actually moving, it's just the light changing...i'll try to use that again later. this one was only 27 pictures, so it was less miserable to make than the last one, but i had to do it twice, because the first was over the size limit.the_ocarina_of_time

well, i couldn't do a very good background. proD isn't good at textures (the grass, wall, and stones are all clouds and sky, with really weird colors). also, the wood thingy over it shouldn't be so light. but the actual well part of the well is pretty good, i think. i actually spent a few hours on this one--most of my pics take less than half an hour.the_ocarina_of_time

Actually, I've had this picture for at least a month. But I wasn't quite sure what to do with the water. I eventually made at least 10 different versions (each one had 700,000 polygons), waited a week or two, and then just picked the first one i had done.
This was actually (partially) inspired by lord-of-shadow's article about the clouds. Yes, that one several months ago. I tried to do a stunning sky in a Wind Waker environment. I think I succeeded.the_ocarina_of_time
