In OoS, the male Maku Tree has had its energy drained, and you must recover the Essences of Nature so he can give you a Maku Seed. In OoA, the female Maku Tree must be saved in the past, and you must recover the Essences of Time so she can give you a Maku Seed.

It has a blue hilt with a golden emblem, and the Triforce symbol is engraved onto the blade.
