Chapter 1: First Sight
The sky, dark with the falling of twilight, seemed to gaze down on Hyrule as Zelda ran down the hallway of her castle as a silent stalker followed.
But soon enough, it spoke...
"You will not get away....My Princess...." it seemed to hiss at her.
All of a sudden Zelda tripped, giving the terrible monster an advantage.
"Get away!"she screamed, then, blackness.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Wake up Princess, a very important person wants to meet you, your highness, might I add that he has a mark on his left hand just like you!"
Zelda opened her eyes to see Impa leaning over her masive bed. She silently got up and whispered," Thank you. I will be in the tea room as soon as I'm properly dressed to meet someone of such honor."
Impa bowed her head and left the room. Zelda immediately got dressed into a beautiful blue silk gown. On her way out of her room Zelda opened her bedroom curtain and was releaved to see the beautiful sun rising over the horizon. She then realized that she was not alone. Behind her someone stood in her bedroom door. She whirled around to see a young man, about her age, standing there. He was wearing a green tunic, a green cap that ran to a point, tattered white tights and leather boots. His hair was the most golden blonde hair Zelda had ever seen, and it reminded Zelda of the beautiful gold necklace that her mother had given her before she died.
" Hello, sorry to intrude, but I just had to meet you, Zelda." he said.
His voise rang in her ears and she could have sworn that she knew him somehow........ Link.... " My name is Link and a bear a very important message for you." " Link?" Zelda stuttered.
Link grinned," It's been years, My Princess."
Without thinking Zelda ran over to Link and embraced him with a long hug. Zelda felt tears run down her cheeks.
