Chapter 1: Outsiders

“Link please come in.”
Link hesitated at the door. He gulped and finally went into Zelda’s room like she had asked. She had a serious look on her face then it softened. Something was up and Link knew it he was just afraid if he said anything she’d kick him like in one of her pat lives where she was pirate. He bowed on one knee like he always did in front of her. Even though Link was her must trusted knight he could never seem to get over that habit no matter how many times Zelda told him to stop.
“I have a job for you Link.” Link looked up at her. It had been some time since his last mission. Link stood up quickly. He pushed back his brown cape behind him his green tunic showing.
“I am ready Zelda.” Zelda smiled at his courage. Zelda straightened herself on her throne and placed her gloved hands in her lap. She started to tell Link his mission. His blue eyes widened as she told him and he slowly became serious. When she was done Link’s face was straight and clear. He bowed to her then took off from the throne room his long ponytailed blonde hair and brown cape following behind him. As he shut the throne room doors he smiled.
Finally something better to do then shoot Moblins while they weren’t looking. He danced around a few of the many rooms that made up the castle. He told all of pets bye and Zelda’s little helper. He grabbed the sword Zelda had special made for him.
Link threw on the quiver, with a few other things he might need and went outside to his horse. He mounted Epona and flew into the fields. His job was to guard the two new travelers. They had to be important if Zelda wanted them guarded. Thing is no one knew what they were like or what they even looked like. He kept riding into the night the full all the way up.
Meanwhile…
“Minda are you sure we are going the right way?” A boy with silver hair called to a black hooded figure. The figure removed there hood and smiled.
“I am sure Dante.” The girl smiled at him. Her pink hair shined in the moon light. She was a girl dressed in a purple long sleeve shirt and skirt a dark black cloak wrapped around her. She had black cat ears and tail and because of them she had to hide herself. It was one price to be a half demon who felt the love and care of a human but also the power of a demon.
Dante crossed his arms he had been lost since they crossed the border. Minda seemed to know where she was going. Besides how bad could this place really be? They were here to relax a bit and to escape from Minda’s crazy sister Violet. She really was crazy but that wouldn’t stop Dante from liking Minda. Also did he mention the weird magical cat? Minda looked up at the glowing moon.
“It’s really pretty huh Dante?” She smiled at him and he blushed. If only she knew, if only. Dante always sucked at speaking his feelings but she seemed to make everything a thousand times worse.
She skipped out to the grass straying from the marked path and he followed her not wanting her to get lost although she knew the land better than him.
“Minda wait up.” Dante chased after her as she ran close to a tree in the middle of nowhere.
