Chapter 1: the start of Link and Malon's journey
Every sunny lon-lon ranch morning there was no care in the air anywhere at all. But there soon would be today! Anyway let me introduce you to the main 2 characters, one of them is a boy age 13 named Link, he had blonde hair a green hat green tunic leather boots and lived not in lon-lon ranch but very close! The other character was a girl named Malon aged 13 too, Malon had longish (for a girl) red hair and a sweet face, she usually wore a blue dress but it varied since she had her own wardrobe! Link and Malon knew eachother since they were babies because Links parents were really good friends towards Malon’s. were meaning they passed away since Link was 7years old and now he kind of looks after himself. Malon only has a dad because her mum died when she was about 5years old but they’ve both kinda gotten over it now! Malon and Link have liked eachother (like as in loved) since they were about 5/6 but haven’t told eachother about their feelings still to this day knowing they’d probably be disappointed!
Every morning Malon used to visit Link and they’d go to hyrule town together but today was different today almost everything will change!!!
Malon woke up early (as always) and got dressed, fed the cukkos and set off to Link’s house. She approached the house and knocked on the super scratched wooden door. There was no answer for a while until a tired Link opened the door, all of a sudden Malon lunged forward into Link and gave him a great Malon hug.
“Wh-what’s this for!” Link said hugging her back!
“Aren’t I allowed to hug my childhood friend now!” Malon said.
“Well ya but…whatever!” Link said too tired to finish his sentence.
“Whats wrong, don’t you like my hugs anymore!” Malon said in a worried tone.
“NO NO NO its not that, you know I love your hugs its just I’m still like half asleep” Link said trying his hardest not to offend Malon.
“But I thought we was going to Hyrule town like we always do!” Malon said still in the worried tone.
“I’m sorry Malon but we always go there and I really want a change.” Said Link using his same “trying not to offend” voice. But it did the complete opposite.
“so basically you don’t want to be around me is that it!” Malon shouted.
“no that’s not it its just…”Link said but got interrupted by Malon.
“LINK you’re always coming up with excuses! Well I’m sick of them all! You could just say you don’t want to be around me! Anyway I’ll just go to Hyrule alone!” Malon shouted. But little did she know Hyrule was a bad place to be today as the rising of a new emperor would begin. The actual reason Link stayed away from Hyrule this morning was because he had a dream warning him to leave Hyrule alone and stop any loved ones from going there too! But before Link could even try to persuade Malon to not go she slammed the door shut and left! Link rushed to the window to see if she was actually going to hyrule and she actually was going. Link saw the back of her lovely blue dress and her silky smooth red hair going towards the town place they call Hyrule. he sat there worrying for a long time until he realised he had a sword and shield from his dad! The shield was of course the hylian shield and the sword was a look-a-like to the kokiri blade but had a red handle with the inscription of the words “to Link my son” he gave him this blade on Links seventh birthday and Link cherished it well! But now was the time to go after Malon.
Meanwhile Malon was walking toward Hyrule town muttering about how angry she was at Link. But everytime she did this she always ended up seeing that she was too hard on Link and that she was in the wrong even if she wasn’t. This time it took until she got to the Hyrule drawbridge to find out she was in the wrong and she was too busy moaning about the one she loved to notice the big black clouds that floated above Hyrule. she looked up and then finally noticed the big dark clouds and thought that it was quite abnormal because it wasn’t raining and plus it wasn’t going to rain because none of the cows at her ranch were on their backs! All of a sudden her whole body shivered at the sight. And she only got cold shivers if something wasn’t right or it was sure darn cold! But it was really hot and sunny so she decided to turn back.
But all of a sudden a stalfos appeared from the ground and started attacking her, she was no fighter but she had awesome reflexes. She managed to dodge about 5 violent whacks of the stalfos’s blade until the stalfos got quite close to her and simply pushed her to the floor. The stalfos raised its what looked like quite heavy blade. Malon just looked at it worried that it would be the last thing she saw. She let out quite a gentle scream because she has a great singing voice and that makes her voice sound beautiful which makes her voice beautiful if you know what I mean…anyway! The stalfos also let out a scream but its was more violent then hers

CLANG! Was the sound she heard as she closed her eyes so that she couldn’t see her corpse before she died. She never wanted to see her own corpse once she died! She didn’t feel a thing but heard the grunting of the stalfos, she slowly opened her eyes to see her childhood loyal friend Link stood there with his shield deflecting the stalfos’s blade. He turned around and gave a little wink at Malon, which made her heart sink for two BIG, reasons. One: the wink and two: the fact that the person stood there saving her life was the person she had just yelled at! Then the stalfos removed his blade and managed to slash Link in the side, which made him obviously turn back round. The stalfos swung once again but since link was paying attention he managed to block it and slash the stalfos with his own blade which caused to stalfos to disappear with purple fumes. (Link was only so good with his blade because he went to Hyrule to learn from the blade master to learn after his mother and father passed away) Link grabbed his slash wound in pain.
“Thank you so so much Link. Even after all I did!” Malon said with a tear in her eye.
“Wh-what are child hood fr-friends for” he said weakly but still with a smile on his face!
Millions of feelings were passing through Link and he didn’t know why maybe because he wasn’t used to such pain.
“oh right I see you’re really injured don’t worry my dad is great at first aid. You know how many time I fall over!” she said smiling.
“Malon you really don’t have to!” Link said but he meant the complete opposite. He couldn’t stop thinking of how much he loved her!
“don’t be so silly, of course I do and I…I’m sorry I shouted at you! But how did you know it was so dangerous around here.” She asked.
“I had another foretelling dream!” he said his feelings still rushing all over the place for no good reason!
“I wish I could have foretelling dreams like you do, Link!” Malon said.
Link felt so much pain and so many emotions he felt so weak!
“Malon I…I lo…yo…”was his last words before he fainted! Malon then thought for a while what he was trying to say but she was absolutely clueless! She took his injured body and took him to the ranch!
His eyes opened but everything was a blur and so he opened them again and everything was clearer. He saw the one he loved the most, Malon and her dad Talon. Her dad kinda looked like one of the Mario brothers.
“are you okay Link?” asked Talon
“I’m fine thanks!” and he meant exactly what he said it felt as if he hadn’t even been slashed.
“I’m glad” the much sweeter voice of Malon said.
Link stood up and noticed his sword and shield had gone missing.
“Where is my SWORD!?” he worriedly shouted.
“hahahahaha! don’t worry about your sword and shield we put them back where you usually keep it in your house.” Talon said. Malon just stared at Link.
“Wh-what?!” Link said to Malon.
“I’m just so glad you came… like a knight in shining armour!” Malon said.
Link wished he never asked because he went as red as a tomato. Malon just giggled!
“Link why did you want your sword and shield so bad!” Talon asked out of curiosity.
Link went out of his blushed state and said “I have a feeling that I must go and see what I can do about Hyrule’s predicaments.”
“I see!” is all Talon could find to say.
“Link I’ll go with you! That is if you don’t mind” Malon suggested.
“Of course I don’t mind I’d love to go with you!” Link said.
“Dad!?” Malon said.
“I would say no! But the time has come that I shouldn’t boss you two around anymore. You just follow whats in your heart!” Talon said.
“Thanks!” they both, said and they thought they’d sleep on it. And wait until the next day to set off!
