What if

It was a day unlike any other day in the Kokiri forest the sun was shining the birds were singing all is as it should be. Or is it? For today all would change in the Kokiri forest.

Our story begins as a young boy named Link was walking through the forest with his best friend Saria. "Saria?" asked Link I have to ask you something, "What’s that" asked Saria "Will you go out with me?". The question surprised Saria, she sort of staggered over her tongue and said “‘Um well you know" Link clenched his fist looked down and cut her off before she could answer and said "You don’t have to if you don’t want to". No, no, she said "I will" Link looked up abruptly and said "You will!". "I will", Link jumped into the air and yelled "WOO-HOO!" He ran of into the distance yelling over his shoulder.

I’ll meet you tonight at seven at your secret spot when Link was out of earshot she turned and shook her head and muttered to herself what have I gotten myself into.

Back at links house he was giddy with joy he could hardly contain himself he paced back and forth trying to pass the time but not making much progress. He then shouted out loud "Oh crap! I have nothing to wear!" He bolted from his tree-house and instead of taking the ladder he leaped from the platform and pulled into a roll as he hit the ground he looked in the sky to see where the sun was "dang!" he mumbled to himself "it’s six thirty if I don’t find some decent clothes soon I’ll be late for my date!"

Completely focused on getting to the shop he wasn’t watching where he was going smacked head long into Mido "Hey! Watch where your going moron!" yelled Mido. "I’m sorry
Mido! I’m just in a hurry that’s all!" said Link and he ran off before Mido had a chance to use a retort. Link heard along and vigorous strand of language inappropriate for the ears of children behind him.

He finally got to the shop after what seamed like forever bought the first suit he saw and ran into the change room. He then bought a lovely bouquet of flowers and ran towards the forest he looked to the sky once more he had five more minutes to get there he dashed through the forest already two minutes late. He dashed into the clearing to a sight almost to horrible to bear. there they were arm in arm kissing each other Mido and Saria. Link dropped his flowers the noise made Saria open her eyes she then pushed Mido away. Link felt as if he had been jabbed in the heart.

Through his tears Link managed to choke out one word "No". He turned and ran through the forest where anger and hate take over the place of sadness. He then had only one thought left in mind a thought of revenge he ran faster than he had ever ran before until he found it, the Kokiri sword he slowly made his way back to the secret place there he met the two of them staring at him then the blade a look of pity in their eyes. An evil smile formed on Link’s face he ran at Mido blade drawn evil in his eyes he swung his weapon over his head cleaving it into his skull with all his might Saria shrieked as the blood pored by the bucket onto the ground Link let go of the weapon as Mido’s body fell limp to the ground Link was horrified at the crime he had just committed he threw up all over the ground as everything went black and he fainted.
