SPCs are music tracks ripped straight from ROMs of Super Nintendo games. Therefore, depending
on your SPC player, SPCs sound almost exactly like the songs from the game. SPCs normally loop
infinitely, and are thus not very useful on Winamp playlists, but there are two timing standards.

SPC Players |
Meridian Advance |
This is a stand-alone multi-game music format program that supports NSF, SPC, and GBS files. |
SNESamp |
I recommend this SPC plug-in for Winamp. It supports ID666 timing, so SPCs
modified for ID666 timing will end after a certain amount of time. Unmodified SPCs will automatically
end after a specified amount of time. |
SPCAMP |
This old Winamp plug-in has its own timer format and SPC core (method
of playing SPCs), so SPCs modified for it will end after a certain
amount of time. Unmodified SPCs, however, will loop forever. |
ZD-SPC |
This stand-alone SPC player supports both timing methods and several different SPC cores,
and comes highly recommended. |
