This game was released simultaneously with "Zelda: Wand of Gamelon" on the Philips CD-i system. From all accounts, this was not a very good game. The control was sloppy (thanks to the remote control joystick controller), and the FMV and voice acting were below par. The action was side-scrolling, like "The Adventure of Link," a style that lots of people didn't like. The story of the game runs as follows:

"Koridai has fallen to Ganon and his evil friends! The gentle islanders are being transformed into blood-thirsty warriors. As you speed towards Koridai on Gwonam's magic carpet, you have only one thought: find Ganon and defeat him. Restore the peace and liberate the citizens of Koridai!"

Link is the hero in this quest to stop Ganon's plot in faraway Koridai. He soon discovers that Ganon has used his magic to kidnap Zelda from her castle. To defeat Ganon and return peace to Koridai, Link must conquer the hideous Faces of Evil...each more diabolic than the one before.
