love Ruto

" But he is a hylian, Ruto. I'm not sure if that will work." Said the Zora King

" But I love him, ever since he saved me, I could not stop thinking about him." Replied Ruto.

" Please, Ruto think about what your saying"

" No, father, you cannot change my mind."

Ruto then stormed out of the throne room and went back to her room. Sitting on her bed, she was thinking about what her father said, about it not working out and stuff. Just then, her maid walks in and asks, " So what did the King talk to you about, my dear princess?" Ruto looked at her and gestured her to sit next to sit on the bed with her, " My father wants me to marry a man I have never met, I would much rather go for the one who saved me, he has earned my hand in marriage.

" Oh? Now who would this mystery man be?" Asked Zarla the maid

Ruto answered, " He is a hylian who goes by the name link."

" A Hylian?" Zarla asked, " Hmmm, sounds interesting. Well does he feel the same way."

" I'm not sure." Answered Ruto. " He left the moment I gave him the Zora's Sapphire."

" Hmmmm." Pondered Zarla, " Did you ever try asking him."

" No I didn't, actually." Ruto answered.

Suddenly, Zarla jumped up, with her fist in the air and yelled, " Then don't give up, princess, You still have a chance!" Zarla paused for a moment, she sat back down and said, " But, um, I don't even know where your boyfriend is, or even looks like."

" First off, he's not my boyfriend, he is my fiance, and second, I think I might know who does. I sometimes see him talking to the crazy lake doctor in Lake Hylia, he might know where Link is."

Ruto and Zarla then took the underwater passage that lead to the lake.
They walked up to the house and knocked...nobody answered, they knocked again...Still no answer, " Maybe he's not home." Suggested Zarla. Ruto sighed and said. " I guess I'll never find him." She started walking for the lake, she suddenly stopped when she heard hoof steps of a horse. Ruto looked up to see link riding on top of Epona. She smiled in relief, then she noticed that he was covered in dirt from head to toe. His clothes looked burned and a little bloody too. He was headed there way, so Ruto panicked and grabbed Zarla by the wrist and jumped into the lake. " What are you doing?" asked Zarla, " I'm sorry, I panicked when I saw link like that." Both stuck their heads half way above the water's surface, both heard link banging on the door and say, " Doctor, Doctor, your experimental potion didn't work, all it did was explode." He stopped hitting the door and sighed. Both zoras noticed link heading for the water.
He kneeled down and started to wash his face. He then started to examine his clothes and sighed. He stood up and started to strip down until he was completely exposed he jumped into the water and started to rub the dirt off himself. Both Ruto and Zarla blushed at this sight.

" I can see the appeal." Said Zarla

Ruto then took a big gulp and said, " I'm going in."
She started swimming towords link, While link had his back turned, she slowly got out of the water, as she approached him her heart started thumping uncontrollably, and she could feel her face turn bright red, " So, is that the legendary Master Sword?" Giggled Ruto. Link suddenly turned around and saw Ruto, he turned red and covered himself, " R- Ruto? " Link kneeled down in respect for the princess, " I- I- I was trying to clean myself in the lake, that is why I am like this right now." Ruto giggled and started towards link again, but then something hit her in the back of her head, knockin her out. Link dove to catch her and saw what hit her. It was a tektite. Link set her down in the water and dove for his sword. It jumped at him, but link put his shield up in time. It fell over on its back and link took his sword up and thrust it in the creature. Zarla suddenly
came out of the water and stared at link, Link still red from the fact that he is nude, put his shield over himself. " Thanks for saving her." Zarla said as she was dragging ruto's onconscious body back to Zoras Domain.

Ruto suddenly woke up in her bed. " Oh thank the goddesses you're awake!" Zarla said in relief. " Ow, what happened?" asked Ruto while rubbing the pain in her head," You were attacked by a tektite, but your boyfriend saved you." Ruto sat there disappointed, " Then I missed my chance to be with him."

" Yeah..But at least you got to see him naked." Said Zarla, Ruto turned red again.
