The Heroes and The Dark Princess

Magma continued to lead the Links to a shop holding the Bunny Hoods as she smirked evilly. Soon they came to a small, old house with broken windows and a strange design on the rusting metal door. There was a Trans-Hylian sign saying ‘Magical Masks’ that only Magma could read. “Hey Magma! What does the sign say?” Shadow asked, listening for a lie.
“Oh, ummmmm… It says ‘Mask Shop’!” She quickly lied, not knowing that a lie was exactly what he wanted. She opened the screeching door, let them in first, and followed them in as she closed the door. A boy looking a lot like Shadow, but more like Green, came up. He wore a long black cap and a black tunic, but with brown sleeves instead of gray. His dusty-blonde hair laid lazily on his head, but his spring-green eyes glittered with happiness. “Hello all who have entered my shop! I am Drago, and how may I help you today?” His greeting was quite friendly, even bowing. Magma walked over to him, smiled evilly, and whispered something before the boy nodded and smirked slyly.
“Can you get us six Bunny Hoods please? My friends and I want to get to a castle, but we can’t get across without them.” Magma asked, not allowing the Links to see him. Before Green could even try to push his way to seeing Drago, the boy ran off into a different room to get the Hoods. Before the black-and-brown clothed boy could return, Magma persuaded the Links to wait outside for her. “Alright, here’s your Bunny Hoods. Thank you for your purchase… Memagma.” Drago laughed evilly and ran to one of the many doors behind him.
“Heh, I’ll be glad to rid of those Links… Mmmm, I can already taste that rabbit stew...” She laughed to herself and walked outside, where the Links were waiting patiently for her return.
“Magma-san, did you get them?” Green asked as soon as she exited the building.
“Of course, Green-kun. The owner keeps all his masks in good care.” Magma answered, walking away as Green and the other Links started following her. They finally reached the same tree they were under, but Magma tried to lead them as far away from the tree as possible. Suddenly, a voice came from under it. “Green-kun… Red, Blue, Vio, and Shadow… don’t trust her… Those masks are cursed; they’ll turn you into rabbits…” It whimpered, sounded exactly like Magma. Suddenly the one leading them away growled loudly at her.
“I thought I got rid of you, you little pest…”
“You’re nothing… without me…”
“Hmph! Once Hemagma rids me of this curse, I can finally rid of you! Your friends, however, will have a much shorter life!” Suddenly, the Magma that was leading them transformed into Memagma as she floated over to the tree calmly. Shadow sighed and ran over to the now visible figure under the tree, the other Links followed suit. Green hugged Magma and hoped that her life would be spared for his life in return. “G-Green-kun…” She weakly whispered, opening her eyes slightly.
“M-Magma-chan! What is it?” Green asked, sounding worried sick.
“F-find a Bunny Hood with red eyes… put it on Memagma….” Before she could finish her sentence, she fainted right in Green’s arms. He nodded and carefully placed Magma on the trunk of the tree before turning to the others.
“I have a plan. Red, distract Memagma, Blue, try to get the mark on her back, Vio, look up a way to heal Magma-chan, and Shadow, help me find the red-eyed Bunny Hood!” He explained quietly so Memagma wouldn’t hear their plan. The others nodded as Red and Blue ran after Memagma with their weapons ready. Vio took out his book and started reading for ways to heal Magma while Shadow and Green ran over to the bag of Bunny Hoods. “Ak! They all have red eyes!” Shadow exclaimed softly, frowning.
“But only one is the real deal.” Green advised, as he took out the Lids of Truth. He put down Bunny Hoods with black eyes, and at the very bottom, there was one with red eyes. “Ah-ha! Got it!” He said, putting the Lids of Truth away. Shadow and Green looked at the battle scene, and became worried. Memagma barely had a scratch, while Red and Blue were covered in blood, panting deeply. Green knew what he had to do, but he didn’t like it. He charged at Memagma as she was just about to kill Red once and for all, throwing the Bunny Hood on… Himself? “Green?! What’cha do that for?!” Blue exclaimed, knowing that the Bunny Hood was cursed.
“Heh, you thought I put a cursed Bunny Hood on myself, while in truth-” Shadow appeared in front of Memagma, throwing a somehow evil-looking Bunny Hood on her, “-I put a normal, everyday hood!” Green finished, wiping away the red marker from the eyes of the hood.
“Akk! Drago, you WILL pay for this!!!” Memagma shouted, disappearing into the shadows before the magical hood could do its job.
